#Gaming Posts of the Week - Nothing Like Nostalgic Feeling When You Read Something... Nostalgic

Robert: "Why do you ask 'What'?"
Rosalind: "When the delicious question is 'When'?"

If you start questioning what I'm doing and why I keep doing this post, it's because I find posts on Steemit to be good to read and I like to write everything I find interesting--gaming related--and while I'm at it I'm trying to help the cool posts to get more viewers than it already is. Not including my own posts, of course.

So I'll be doing this every Thursday and Sunday. If you don't see your post here, maybe you will on Sunday and if you still don't, maybe on the next Thursday. Still don't? Sunday it is then, and so on and so on.

Here's my pick of this week Thursday's #gaming posts of the week, check it out..

Gaming Discussion - Can You Think Of Anything That All Gamers Do/Say?
by @grownfolksgaming

Let's start with something short and fun. Anything that gamers do/say? "Lag" is probably the most used word on this context. Admit it, we are all said that at one point. Whether it's because truly lag problem or just an excuse for dying in silly ways. But don't get me wrong, it doesn't mean that it's (always) bad to say that. The bad part is when you're actually lagging and noone believe you so you just... sit there holding back tears and rage.

Interesting Conversation I had about Final Fantasy IV PC Port (Or VideoGame Ports in general)
by @ahmadmanga

Another nicely written thoughtful post by @ahmadmanga. A conversation he had with one question to answer with your thought about one of the game companies that make a franchise you grew up with, Final Fantasy series. What's the question? Check it out yourself and see what you think of it.

City Of Acre Rich District Assassin 18/12/2017
by @simonjay

I don't know why but I prefer a written walkthrough over watching a video of it. Maybe because a great deal of writing skill is required to put something that is more efficient to watch than to read into line of texts properly. And I learnt some things from this post, which is useful as I'm having difficulty to make a written gaming session. But if aren't a fan of that, don't worry this is a fairly short gameplay of Ezio in a pickpocket mission. I find it fun to read.

Forgotten Games: Digimon World (Playstation)
by @michellerhey

It's been a loooong time since the last time I saw a Tamagotchi, let alone playing it. Although I can't remember much about Digimon, the characters' names, how Digimon world work, which one is WarGreymon and what's the name of that Digimon that evolved into some white knight form that I really liked, despite all that reading only the name "Agumon" in this post bring all the joy flooding back. So you know what you'll get from this post.. a nicely written nostalgic read about a Digimon game on PS1.

That's my pick of this week's #gaming posts. Be sure to leave your upvotes if you like the posts and resteem to make Steemit's #gaming section great again.

Also, stay tune on @gaming-stuff for more of my gaming posts too. Thank you for your time to read my posts, Steemians. I really appreciate that. Steem on, awesome people!

Thanks for mentioning me again ~

Can't believe that someone actually posted about Digimon World 1 here, it's one of my favorite childhood games!!

You're welcome! Your posts are great, keep it up.

I know right, it's nice to have a moment to look way back at the old games at the time where ultra-realistic modern games are everywhere

Thanks for the mention. If you've never played the game you should get an emulator and try it out. It's one of my favorites. : P

I think I will. The Digimon game I played was Digimon Rumble or something, on PS2. But what I wanted the most is the Tamagotchi. It would be cool to have that hanging on my backpack right now, don't care what people think of me lol

haha I thought I still had my Digimon keychain pet, but I can't find it! I know the battery died years ago, but I was pretty sure I kept it. I'm sad I can't find it now. :-(

Digimon had many games for Playstation. I also enjoyed Rumble Arena (fighting game), and there was also a Digimon Card Game for PSX that was awesome! Strangely, the real life card game was totally different, and I think it would have been more successful had it used the gameplay of the Playstation game. The real card game was confusing, and nobody I knew played it as a result..

Also, if you have an Android phone somebody made a little port of the Digimon virtual pet you can play with.

Woah!
Why was the existence of this game hidden from me? Curse them! Unforgivable.
Hahah, thanks for letting me know about this..

It makes me think "why if they made a game this awesome back then, can't they make better games with today's technology?"

Asking the real question here..

good luck @gaming-stuff
keep on working
