I have ideas to improve everything! The popular, phone-based, Marvel Contest of Champions game is not immune. Since the game seems to be driven by players joining groups called alliances, my suggestions involve allowing these groups to do more than just fight together.
The first idea is to have an "Alliance Armory". Players, called "Summoners", already have an individual stash of the resources they use to upgrade and enhance their characters. The armory would be a communal stash, where members of the alliance could contribute resources they are not using and players could take what they need. There would be limits on how much a summoner could take.
The second idea is for members of an alliance be able practice and learn, inspired by the "Danger Room" of the X-Men. Summoners could practice against holograms that could learn how the summoner plays. Two summoners could spar with each other, or one summoner could help another learn skills like parrying.
At least with the alliance I am in, improvement seems to be the goal. These ideas would make that easier and more collaborative.
