Zombie Adventure - Game 14 - Day 11 (Feb. 6, 2018)

in #gaming7 years ago

With both buildings now open, the teams just need to clear them of zombies, collect what they need and go have a feast with the meal they make.

Objective: Find a cooking pot (X on the map) and bring it to the kitchen. Find rice and water and bring those to the kitchen so that a meal can be prepared and eaten by all team members. In other words, all members of the team must reach the kitchen AFTER the meal has been made. To be clear: The pot, rice and water are picked up as items (cost is 1 action). These items are then deposited in the kitchen as actions (like a trade). Once ALL items required (rice, water and pot) are present in the kitchen, one player will use an action to MAKE the meal. At that point, all players need to visit the kitchen and use a final action to eat the meal. We could end the game when everyone ate or wait until everyone gets off the board. If any player dies, the game is lost and the zombies win!

Zombie Turn after the players made the above moves:

All zombies pre-existing on the board move: The Runner from the middle room scoots South to join those who have dared to enter the building.

Zombies spawn at spawn sites:
bottom left rolls a 2 = nothing.
top left rolls a 3 = Walker.
top right rolls a 5 = Runner.

Sort:

Player 2 : Shoot the runner to my East.

Player 2 (2nd)

Action 1: Shoot at the Runner to the East using the CZ-550. Roll 5! BOOM! That one is blown to smithereens!
Action 2: Move West to the waste bin.
Action 3: Shoot at the Walker to the West. Roll 5 to kill the Walker! You are definitely competing with player 1 for the zombie slayer title!

Hahaha, you're an excellent GM, you know me so well.

Yes and yes please.

Done! You ROCK Mr. ninja man!

Awwwww yeah!

I will wait for the runner on my N to be killed. Then I will move N and shoot the walker about 2 squares N of mine.

You are player 12 and you moved S E E last time, so there is nothing but player 2 NORTH of you now. Were you actually trying to enter the building last time?

Sorry.
I mistakenly del3ted my 1st command.
I want to move S first.

Last time was my mistake too.
I thought that the right corner building's was broken.

I am not myself these days. I am busy with Industrial Training.

Not a big deal, but I still don't know what your intent is. Inside buildings, you can't shoot more than 1 space because of how the walls and doors are aligned. I was thinking you wanted to go and help player 2 in case he misses too many shots and gets into trouble.

Lol. Well, that was my intent to begin with.
But I can't shoot at 2 spaces afar !?
I didn't know about that.

It is common sense yet I didn't realize that.

Move n to player 6 and use best weapon available to kill r
Move n to kill walker

Player 11 (1st)

Action 1: Move North into the fray.
Action 2: Without a melee weapon, use bare hands to fight the Runner. Roll 2 = fail.
Action 3: Try again. Roll 4 = success. You placed 0.5 damage on the Runner.

Note that you have a torch for searching and a x-bow that is only good for player 10 (who is inactive).
If we get a lot of return players for the next game, I'm thinking to allow players to choose ONE of their items from THIS game to bring into the NEXT game. BUT... the rooms will all be filled with zombies and all doors are open! Zombie apocalypse!!! Any comments on that idea?

I will play next game, maybe I understand more, anyone that has melee weapon extra? Who can I attack with my x bow?

There is no extra melee weapon and we are still searching for more. The x-bow can reach only to the next space and there are no zombies within range right now. Click the link in the post to see who has what weapon.

OK, I can see who has what, will do some more search next turn

LOVE THAT IDEA!

Support from me

moving with player5. If player5 miss to kill walker then I try it.

Player 8 (4th)

Action 1: Move North.
Actions 2 & 3?? Player 5 killed the zombies, so there is nothing to kill.

Find weapon and kill walker if any come.

Player 6 (5th)

Action 1: Attack the injured Runner using the baseball bat. Roll 3 = fail.
Action 2: Try again. Roll 1 = fail.
Action 3: Try again. Roll 5 = success. You killed the injured Runner.

Hi! Sorry I dislocated my finger so I've been away! If playr 1 misses that walker to the W I'll attack it. If not, I'll head w, n, n to the kitchen.

Does someone still need to find a cook pot? i don't see it in anyone's inventory.

Here, maybe my upvote will help your finger heal! We need it in the zombie apocalypse! :)

Hehe, thank you!

We missed you and your wonderful up-votes. Sorry to hear about your finger! I do hope that it heals up quickly and completely! I figured something must have happened for you to miss those days. Is the finger still really painful or has it settled down now? Is it near impossible to type or can you manage OK?

Player 4 (8th)

Action 1: Move West.
Action 2: Move North.
Action 3: Move North.

There's not a huge amount of pain which is nice :3 I seem to be typing okay today.. just slower cause I can't use all of my fingers on my right hand.

I'm glad it seems manageable. Please take care and don't hurt yourself any more.

Ahhh, you poor thing.. that must be so frustrating! Hope its not too painful.

The cooking pot is at the X, Player "69 dude!", is going to get it.

Thank you! I'm healing up pretty quickly I think!

Player 9.

  1. move North
  2. Shoot into room to the North.
  3. if zombie dead, move stay put, otherwise try again till dead.

If I've understood correctly about only being able to shoot 1 case in front of me, this should work.

"Time to make some Walker kebab !"

Player 9 (6th)

Action 1: Move North.
Action 2: Shoot at the Walker to the North. Roll 4 to blast it to bits.
Action 3: Stay put and wait for the Hulk to move closer.

"Come to papa !"

Clean-up time!
I go north to stand next to player 4, and then shoot inside the kitchen at the walker inside. If I'm not mistaken nobody took that one out yet.
Then I fire again if I have an action left.... if no zombies, I shoot in the air instead in a celebratory fashion

Player 1 (7th)

Action 1: Move North.
Action 2: Shoot at the Walker to the West. Roll 5 to take it DOWN!
Action 3: Shoot in the air as a victory shot!

at first search the car then try to kill zombie

Player 5 (3rd)

Action 1: Search the car. Roll 2 = fail. Roll 5 to find a Runner!
Action 2: Attack the Runner using the CZ-550 (allowed since you are the ONLY player in the space). Roll 6 to kill the found Runner.
Action 3: Attack the Walker to the North with the CZ-550. Roll 5 to blast the Walker to pieces!

Amazing dude!!

Take a weapon and go to the car

Player 7 (9th)

Action 1: Search the car for more weapons. Roll 1 and 5 to find a Runner.
Action 2: Attack the runner with the axe. Roll 2.
Action 3: try again. Roll 6 to kill the Runner.

This seems like a neat idea, although, I would never remember to get involved! Great work. Will follow others playing mind!

Thanks for the comment. It requires a daily commitment to play this game, but it takes just a few minutes to state your intended moves.

Good luck master

Likewise to you.

I always have to giggle at how you actually respond to them, the weird things they say! :)

I often wonder if anyone even reads the responses they get from these strange comments. My guess is that many of them are bots, but there may be a few from those who just have a really hard time with the English language and are trying their best to say something. I try to keep an open mind and give the benefit of the doubt.
