I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Objective: Find a cooking pot (X on the map) and bring it to the kitchen. Find rice and water and bring those to the kitchen so that a meal can be prepared and eaten by all team members. In other words, all members of the team must reach the kitchen AFTER the meal has been made. To be clear: The pot, rice and water are picked up as items (cost is 1 action). These items are then deposited in the kitchen as actions (like a trade). Once ALL items required (rice, water and pot) are present in the kitchen, one player will use an action to MAKE the meal. At that point, all players need to visit the kitchen and use a final action to eat the meal. We could end the game when everyone ate or wait until everyone gets off the board. If any player dies, the game is lost and the zombies win!

Hope our fearless leader is okay and today wasn't a bad hospital day.
Thanks for caring! I read 3 books today:
Kidney function and cleansing.
Liver function and cleansing.
Colon cleansing and function.
All 3 very informative books, but not something I'm able to do at this time because they conflict with my ketogenic diet.
Whoa! I'm on the ketogenic diet too!
I personally love it... and every time I dip back into carbs it takes me 3-4 days to feel good again.
It's so great your researching everything you can... information is where it's at... trial and error alongside detailed notes are your friends.
Oh wow! I still have lots to learn about the diet itself. There are lots of things I could probably be eating that I don't know about. I also read that if we consume too much meat (or protein) the body begins creating a growth hormone that can actually cause the cancer to grow faster. The one study I read was feeding rats lard and although in the beginning the diet helped kill cancer, over the long term, the cancers grew faster. However, the diet they fed the rats was NOT all the greens and other whole foods one typically eats on a keto diet, so to me that study is totally useless and invalid. That would be like feeding a dog grapes and after the dog dies, proclaiming that grapes are toxic to people. One really needs to dig deep and uncover the B.S. that is proclaimed to be science from which they draw some pretty inaccurate conclusions.
I found one site that says those on a keto diet need to calculate everything they eat to balance the carbs (in almost every food), the protein and the fiber. That's a lot of effort! I need some good recipes that have already done the calculations so that I can eat a balanced diet and achieve my goals.
There is so much information and misinformation out there, it's crazy. The internet has given us so much access, but it makes it really hard to distinguish what is rubbish and what is useful... that's why I think taking detailed notes yourself and not being afraid of trial and error is probably the only way to go to figure out what works for you. On the downside, we don't know everything that's happening in our body, so that makes it hard. It's hard to know who to trust because everyone seems to have an angle or a bias.
I'm not so strict about my keto diet. I don't calculate everything, but I'm fairly confident I keep non-fiberous carbs down below 30g. I eat a lot of pecans, they are super high in fat, and then a lot of meat and veggies and salads. Its all so complex, but hopefully you'll find some good recipes and get into a routine so you won't have to calculate things as much.
From what I have read, burning ketones is far more efficient than burning sugar, so I can see someone like you being on this diet. You need the efficiency to keep up the endurance. Just make sure you are not eating too much animal product so that it plugs you up.
On another note: You should let us know when you compete and when your videos play on the Internet, give us the links. Would love to root for you!
Yeah, it hasn't been a problem to be honest, but I do eat mostly salad and veggies more than anything else. I usually grill a lot of meat all at once and then use that over several meals.
Ah! I actually competed on the weekend, the video is here and was happy with my efforts... I was supposed to have another competition tomorrow but it got cancelled.
Thank you for all your support.. hope you're excited about everything you've learnt... once you get through all this, I'm sure you'll be a much healthier person overall.
