Zombie Adventure - Game 14 - Day 6 (Feb. 1, 2018)

We have one person who is interested in taking over the character of any players who consistently miss moves. Player 10 has missed several days in a row. Perhaps it is time to let someone else play that character?

Objective: Find a cooking pot (X on the map) and bring it to the kitchen. Find rice and water and bring those to the kitchen so that a meal can be prepared and eaten by all team members. In other words, all members of the team must reach the kitchen AFTER the meal has been made. To be clear: The pot, rice and water are picked up as items (cost is 1 action). These items are then deposited in the kitchen as actions (like a trade). Once ALL items required (rice, water and pot) are present in the kitchen, one player will use an action to MAKE the meal. At that point, all players need to visit the kitchen and use a final action to eat the meal. We could end the game when everyone ate or wait until everyone gets off the board. If any player dies, the game is lost and the zombies win!

All zombies pre-existing on the board move: The Runner moves to Player 1.

Zombies spawn at spawn sites:
bottom left rolls a 5 = Runner.
top left rolls a 3 = Walker.
top right rolls a 3 = Walker.

Another player attempting to walk through walls! With such slow progress on searches, shall we keep trying?

  1. Search the car. Roll 4, you found a baseball bat.
    Since you already have one...
  2. Trade one bat to Player 4 for nothing in return.
  3. Skip action.

I'm taking the red bus

Player 7 (1st to move)

  1. Search the red bus. Roll 5 = success. You found a x-bow!
  2. Use this newly-found weapon to shoot at the approaching Walker. Roll 4 = success! You killed the Walker!
  3. Stay there to protect your fellow team members.

Player 4 (9th to take action)

  1. Search the car. Roll 3 = fail. Roll 2 to find nothing. (WHY? Why such lousy search rolls?)

Then I shoot once at the Runner to my West

Regardless of whether I hit or miss I will move north into the corridor to stand in front of the door after that, in a pretty Matrix-like dodge move

Player 1 (2nd to move)

  1. Chop at the Runner with the axe. Roll 5 for a successful hit! (just like in the gif!)
  2. Uses the rifle to shoot at the Runner in the spawn zone. Roll 1 (awe shucks... that bent barrel is making you miss.)
  3. Move North.

I think you're right: this rifle is borked!
I may have to go all-out Xena this game

Search bus if finding pick it up.
Attack walker with x bow if successful search
If not attack again

Player 11 (3rd to move)

  1. Search the bus. Roll 2 = fail. Roll 4 to find a Walker. (DANG!)
  2. Resigned to fighting bare-handed, player 11 throws a punch (roll 6) and breaks the Walker's face. (0.5 damage)
  3. Attack again. Roll 6 again to lay the Walker out flat! (NICE JOB!)

Why did I not be use the bow?

It would have hit one of your team mates. The order of hitting something when there are more than 1 target in a space is: Player, Walker, Runner, Hulk. In close combat, you want to use a melee weapon unless you and the zombie are the ONLY ones in the space.

Player 2: Search the red bus.

1.) Collect any weapons or items.... or
2.) Fight any zombies I find.

If I find an axe and no zombies, move 1 square south.

Player 2 (4th to move)

  1. Search the bus. Roll 4 = success. You found a CZ-550! (Oooooohhhh how nice! Lucky you!)
  2. Since that's not an axe, stay to kill anything coming down from the North while still able to keep searching? There are enough players to the South to take care of that side of town.

WOW! All my dreams have come true!

It might be foolhardy, but I'll actually move 2 squares North to form a line of defence with Big Bertha. This way I'll have the opportunity to mow down two walkers next turn and give my team some breathing space.

Yea, I wonder why I didn't think of putting in the move order long ago! The game just keeps evolving.

OK, you are 2 spaces North now! Just be sure to move back if a Runner shows up! Unfortunately, there is nothing to search in your new location, so no hope of landing a melee weapon there.

Nice try, but you only get 3 actions per turn, and you cannot walk through walls!

Player 3 (5th to take action)

Since you have no weapons, how about searching the bus instead?

  1. Search the bus. Roll 1 = fail. Roll 3 to find a Walker. (Woops, sorry.)
  2. Attack the Walker bare-handed. Roll 5 to damage the Walker by 0.5 points.
  3. Attack again. roll 5 to finish off that Walker.

again searching car. I need weapons for kill zombies.
And safat give me one pistol please. You have already two.

Player 8 (6th to take action)

  1. Search the car. Roll 3 = fail. Roll 1 to find nothing. (Not too bad.)
  2. Pending approval... trade pistol from P5.
  3. Skip?

I have two pistol. So I want to give 1 pistol to player10 (blender69-ben). then again search the car.

Player 5 (7th to take action)

  1. Search the car. Roll 2 = fail. Roll 4 to find a Walker. (Boooo hoooo)
  2. Without a melee weapon, bare fists is all we have. Roll 3 = fail.
  3. Try again. Roll 3 = fail. (Could use some help here folks!)
  1. Shoot the runner in the spawn zone, till death ensues.

  2. if moves left, move West

  3. shoot at runner to the north if any actions left.

Player 9 (8th to take action)

  1. Using the CZ-550, shoot at the Runner in the spawn zone. Roll 1 = fail.
  2. Try again. Roll 5 to blast that suckah to death.
    With a live zombie in your space, you are not able to escape it's clutches and it pulls you back into the crowd. You have no choice but to fight it.
  3. Attack the Walker using the baseball bat. Roll 6 = success. You crushed it's skull and it crumples at your feet.

eyes Safat, then eyes Mr.Batty sooo... would you explain to me why a zombie toddler tried to bite my leg while I was aiming ?

... I keep imagining we're all characters in Ash VS Evil Dead.

Began watching it randomly on netflix... continued watching it for the strange combination of dark humour and horrible scenario's (Seriously... everything dies in that series, including kids, often in horrible ways X/ ).

Sounds gory! I guess netflix will kill conventional TV one day. I prefer DVD's for the special features and the higher quality.

I turned my eyes away for a bit in one episode when I noticed that, for a first in popular entertainment, the...genitals... of Mr.dissected-corpse-zombie were not censored in any way.

I did not need to see that X/

X-rated gore. I guess they can do that since it is subscription and not mass-flooding the market. Interesting. I don't have Netflix and I don't watch TV, so I've been out of the loop for at least 9 years.
