Player 12 is either very generous with their life or wasn't paying attention and walked into a space with a zombie!

Objective: STAY ALIVE long enough to reach the X in the North-West corner!

Zombie Turn after the players made their moves:

The Walker attacks player 6. Rolls 3 and misses.
The hulk attacks player 2. Rolls 6 and damages P2 by 1 more point.
**The Walker attacks P6 + P12. Rolls 5 for a successful hit to (rolls 7,4,3,10,11,11,10,6) Player 6. Player 6 suffers their first damage point!

Spawning
Each time a player moves into an un-charted space (blacked out), new zombies spawn based on dice rolls.
6 spawns a Hulk, 5 spawns a runner, 4 spawns a walker and 3, 2 or 1 spawns nothing.

You are locked in battle and cannot move anywhere.
Attack the Walker. Roll 6 to kill the Walker! Tomorrow you are free to move!

Move N in the clear.

That move by P12 could be a very strategic game changer! With P6 suffering damage from the zombie, now might be a good time to do some PvP killing!
Let's see how this will ACTUALLY play itself out...

Killing won't start until somebody reaches the X imo.

Any wasted time right now means you lose a chance of getting there first! So pvp is just making people lose their position

The first to reach the X wins, so the game is over at that point. It has been suggested that after the initial cooperative period that players in the same square MUST fight each other. I wonder how the rest of you feel about that idea?

I just re-read my own rules and the OBJECTIVE at the top of this page and it doesn't mention being FIRST nor ONLY, so in all fairness, all those who survive to reach the X will win. If you want you can duke it out at the end to see who is the last one standing, or try back-stabbing someone who is already fighting for their life with a zombie. The NEXT game will be FIRST to reach = winner. I'm also considering having everyone chip in a token amount to play and the winner takes all. Any comments on that idea?

Absolutely fine with chipping in something for the prize pool.

All I know is I am going to win the race of getting to the X first and nobody better try and stop me. To hell with all the rules, these are the rules I adhere to this game!!!! And once I claim my X, whoever wants it can come take it! There's only one X on this table, that means it's more scarce than Bitcoin

Haha.. Games are becoming more interesting by the day !
I love the idea where we need to chip some tokens and fight for survival.

You will need a bigger map because many more player will start to join and this game might become a lot popular soon.

If first to reach = winner, then I suggest a rule where player needs to fight in the same square. If there is a zombie in the square along with two players, then the players will have a peace treaty for that round and they will attack the zombie to clear it out..

Peace treaty will not end until the zombie is dead. I ask for 2 turns each round.
No one will be safe in this case.

I think you should ask that in the next round at the beginning.

I did; at the top of the posting.

I messed up. I didn't see player 6's turn.
I will wait for player 6 to clear out the zombie. Then I will move West.
If player 6 fails, I will have to smash that zombie.

OK, I'll make note in the spreadsheet.

Just moved to a new city and don't have wifi yet.

Was greeted by a snowstorm that paralysed the transport network as soon as I got off it nearly, and had to push 6 cars who couldn't get traction while out shopping 😅😅😅

Fun and games in the snow when it hits like that... messes up everything!
