In my first post I plan to give a rough outline of the collector DAO I plan to form. I encourage any thoughts and constructive criticisms.

Our Purpose

The DAO focus is on developing web 3 gaming economies by buying hive gaming assets (NFTs, Tokens, Ect) and redistributing the benefits back to our community.

The Process

We plan to create and sell a token to fund the DAO. Tokenomics will be discussed in a separate post. We plan to build a website that allows token holders to stake their tokens on a specific game the DAO has assets for and receive assets from that game.

For example lets say we invested in 2 games. game1 and game2. Token holders could stake all their tokens on game1 and get assets only from game1. Or they could stake in game1 and game2 50/50 and receive tokens relative to their stake in each game.

Distribution

Profits will be split into 3 sectors:

Staking Reward Pool
Asset Purchase's
Treasury Reserves

The percentage weights of the 3 sectors will be voted on by the community and set by the DAO PRESIDENT.

Governance

My idea on this is a 1 token / 1 vote system. Token holders will be able to vote on:

3 Sector Distribution Weight
Contributor Positions ( DAO President, Community Manager)
Game Buy-in's and Asset Purchase's

We plan to build out some sort of forum to support a proposal system. Then we want to be able to let token holders submit proposals for ideas. This system will need to be fleshed out a lot more.

Contributor Positions

I believe the administration of the DAO will require 3 roles.

DAO President - To execute proposals made by the DAO, manage team and Manage DAO assets.
Community Manager / Marketing - To interact with the community, be the face of the DAO and do marketing.
Developer Team - Work on and maintain the website and cover any Blockchain issues.

I would like to have some sort of NFT that can be given to a Contributor that is automatically airdropped tokens for payment.

Conclusion

I believe a DAO like this is useful because it's a one stop place to learn about and play the game's hive has to offer.
