I also heard nothing but praise for the Batman NES game. Haven't played it yet though. In the last few years I caught up on several of the RPGs from the SNES era - Chrono Trigger, ActRaiser, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy titles to name just a few - which were amazing. As a child I was mainly into platformers like Donkey Kong Country or Sonic the Hedgehog .

It really is fun going back and playing the games that you missed when you were a kid.
It's funny because I was the opposite. I was a big RPG fan growing up so it was a large majority of the key platformers and action games that I missed. I mean I've played the more popular and ubiquitous games of the era such as Donkey Kong Country and Mega Man but missed out on the less "mainstream" games.
