Alien Worlds Is Not Worth My Time...

in #gaming2 years ago

I "played" Alien Worlds a fair amount last year and even spent my own money on some of the NFTs to increase my mining abilities. The changes were negligible at best so I stopped playing for a long time. I even sold off most of my NFTs because it was better than sitting there clicking Mine every 5 minutes and getting a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a penny each time. Simply put, it was a waste of my time.

Well, I recently remembered my WAX login and rediscovered the joys of Mining in Alien Worlds again and wow it is such a slog. The game uses it's own currency called Trillium that is worth about 1/5th of a WAX token.

That's cool right? WAX is pretty valuable isn't it? Wrong.

So these Trillium tokens are worth about a penny in actual USD currency, and the game gives me about 0.001 of them every time I Mine in the game. It isn't worth the electricity it costs me to keep that tab open on my computer, nor the time and mental effort it takes to remember to go into it and click Mine every five minutes. It's ridiculous!

It also touts itself as a "game" but it has no gameplay. Literally the entire thing is just buying new NFT equipment, assigning it to one of your open slots, and clicking Mine every 5 minutes for the rest of eternity. It's so boring!

So, I am once again done with Alien Worlds. I will not allow this "game" to waste my time any longer. Goodbye Alien Worlds!
