Ya same world, it's supposed to take place somewhere between the Hobbit books and The Lord of the Rings books. Although I think they changed enough up so that it's not exactly the same.

pretty cool man. I can't get enough of LOTR.
I'd say teh same but I really wasn't a fan of the Hobbit films. Too much CGI or something.. didn't have that epic quality the originals had.
