Play To Earn – Earn From Play | Dividend Game Currency: Gamecash (GCSH)

When I was a young tike, I was a big gamer. I would come home from primary school and load up my gaming console, blowing on the cartridge end before plugging and playing the afternoon away. Some of my favourite titles, included Manic Mansion, Mutant League Ice Hockey, Mario Cart and when I moved to PC; Solar Vengeance v2

As I transitioned into my teens; girls, parties and getting into mischief with the mates took me away from my gaming lifestyle. I didn't completely lose touch with the gaming world however. One of my first jobs after graduating in graphic design was for a gaming development firm call Auran Development (N3V Publishing). I worked in the marketing department designing game manuals, packaging and point of sale merchandise. It was an enjoyable job with one of the perks being the last hands to touch the game manuals (and credits) just before they went to print :P

On 13 December 2007, Auran Development, the company behind Fury, went into voluntary administration and it was time for me to move on (http://www.gamesradar.com/fury-dev-closes-down/) I haven’t really played a game since then, but Gamecash could get me motivated once again to pickup a controller with their pay to play in-game currency, lets dive in.

What is Gamecash (GCSH)?

Gamecash (https://www.gamecash.technology/ ) is a cryptocurrency that can be implemented in various game engines, where player can monetise their previously unproductive game playing time, earning the crypto Gamecash (GCSH). Gamecash can also be used as a retail tool for game developers to monetise the buying and selling of in-game items. Gamecash will also be rolling out a startup game funding solution (see Gamecash Dividend Model below).

Gamecash Roadmap

The development team behind the project is already well ahead in the roadmap with a release of the alpha platform launched in May. Some of the near term goals include partnerships with large video game companies (Nov) along with ambitious deals with PSN and Xbox (Feb 2018).

Team Behind Gamecash

The team have the needed gaming industry experience with references to Nintendo, Microsoft and various other video game companies found in their profiles. Ray Chung leads the clan as a experienced entrepreneur with a background in VC and crypto.

Gamecash Dividend Model

The feature of Gamecash that stands out the most for me, is its strategy to offer investors and developers a platform for collaboration in the funding of start-up video games. A system where investors can choose viable gaming projects, and invest GCSH tokens in exchange for dividends yielded by that particular development. The details on this system are still thin at the stage in the roadmap, but this will be an interesting space to watch.

GCSH Tokens

The GCSH token distribution model looks to be done fairly for investors with only 20% being held back as the in game rewards mechanism. 76% will be sold during Pre-ICO and ICO phases. Total Supply: 99,999,999

In Conclusion

The gaming industry has taken off in the last decade, with much more growth predicted ahead. Tech advisor Digi-Capital expects the game-software industry to grow 22 percent from $90 billion a year in 2016 to $115 billion a year by 2020. It's quite clear the gaming niche in the crypto world will be a winner. But will the charge be lead by Gamecash? Only time will tell: https://www.gamecash.technology/ -Pre-ICO Starting Soon-

im in :D I think it's a cool and creative idea with gamecash, cuz sometimes I can play a lot :D But still I don't get how all system is gonna work, and how psn would allow smth to do there. Anyway, I'm hyped, upvote your post, it's cool ;)

Thanks Denis, appreciate the upvote. I'm not much of a gamer these days, but even i think this one is pretty cool. Had to write about it :)

It's very cool, I hope they would add psn very soon and cool pc games, maybe some small game creators could benefit from it too

Hmmm.. since this starts as an ICO I hope they succeed but it's hard to succeed as ICO these days.. I don't consider myself a Hardcore gamer, but I like games especially RPGs and Text-based games like Visual Novels. I write reviews from time to time~

But if I'm getting paid to play I might love to play that!!

I hope so too, if they get some strategy games listed, i'll have another go at gaming.

Thanks for the comment!
