The Ultimate Music Game
Have you ever played a game like Guitar Hero or Rockband and thought "Damn, I wish I could do this but with my own music."
Well, luckily, this game is just for that. The premise of the game is incredibly simple. You play as a small space ship flying other various game modes that are mapped out to the flow, rhythm, tempo and beat of any music on your computer. Now, I've personally only ever played one game mode, that being were you must dodge grey blocks and collect the coloured ones. However, the game boasts a dozen or more different modes.
Plus, the game is incredibly cheap, highly replayable and most of all, fun as all Hell.
It's a simple little game on Steam that is just really fun. The gameplay is as endless as your music library is, maybe even larger! It's a simple game with a simple premise but it's done so damn perfectly that I have to commend the game for that.
Visually, the neon lights, the changing background and stylistic art style is all really nice to look at while playing. You really just can't go wrong with the game, like, at all.
Again, the game is cheap, only £7. (About 10 dollars.) Which is criminally cheap for how many hours of fun you can squeeze from this game. I really can't say much more on the game. It's simple, it's replayable, it's just a great bit of fun.http://store.steampowered.com/app/12900/AudioSurf/
Audiosurf gets a 9/10.
I can't really complain about the game at all. It's various game modes give so much variety, but Mono is the true fun of the game for me. I feel no need or want to try the other modes and I doubt I ever will.
The game even has two player, so you and a friend can blast the game together. What more could you want?
Indeed it is a fun game. Might have to fire this one up again, been a few years since I played it :)
