Uganda Memes n' Traps

So, anyone who watches a lot of Youtube or Twitch has probably heard of or seen this game. It's a free to play VR/PC game that dropped recently and gained a LOT of attention, mostly on Twitch. The premise is pretty simple, you just go around worlds hanging out with people. However, it's spawned quite a lot of memes and jokes, such as the Uganda Knuckles meme. AKA, this:

It's hard to really talk too in depth about this game, but what I can say is it's fun. I hopped on adn played it for seven or eight hours with out the VR set up and had a great time. Made a few friends and genuinely enjoyed myself. You can have fun talking to people, dicking around, Roleplaying or just standing around watching people be idiots, it all depends on personal preference.

There's also the ability to pick your avatar or make your own, so you see people playing as so many different things. Game characters, anime characters, a house made out of Cory's face from Cory in the House. I don't even know, memes basically. The game is honestly just a bunch of fun. You can stand around and chat, go to open mic nights and do stand up or sing for people, run around as a tiny Knuckles chanting about "knowing the way" or do Go Karting or First Person Shooter game modes. The game is essentially an MMO sandbox game where anything goes, but with the added potential or VR.

For me, the simplicity of the game is the strong point of it. Being able to just mess around with other people is great. Even coming from a usually awkward or shy person, I found it easy to talk to people and mess around. The atmosphere is overall pretty friendly and laid back. No one's really shitting on people, not from what I've seen at least, and if anyone is, there's a really simple blocking ability to get rid of people like that. Or, just get a few friends together and play private games. Again, the game is free, VR isn't required to use it, it also has mouse and keyboard support.

In the end, VR Chat is a simple but sweet game that you can easily hop on for an hour or two and have a good time.

And for that, I give it a 7.8/10.

I've never played it but I've seen it all over the place!

I love games like this though, where there isn't really a game if that makes sense. Just people having a laugh basically!

that's pretty much the game yeah it's great, definitely recommend giving it a shot

Congratulation

Hello, actually yesterday evening I was talking to my boyfriend about this! I didn't have the chance to try it and honestly I am a bit scared of games like this one because of the potential "over-involvement" - you just play the game and throw away your real life! It looks somehow like Second Life, don't you agree?
