Hello Steemians! :)
How are you today? I hope fine :) enjoy your activities guys.
Are you all ready to read game reviews from me ?, I hope you guys are happy to read it, today I will discuss Metro Last Light Game. Happy Reading! :)
The dispute against the Dark Ones seen as the greatest threat in Metro 2033 did reach a destructive final conclusion. The missile attack is thought to have succeeded in destroying all these mysterious creatures while restoring a bit of peace to the life of the main character - Artyom. A breath of relief that did not last long.
Coming to a direct sequel, Metro: Last Light comes a year after the last event in 2033. Artyom, who now joins The Rangers and lives in an important military facility - D6, is still haunted by the dream of The Dark Ones, deliver something for her. But is not the existence of this strange creature already over? At least not in Khan's eyes. Unlike the other opinion, Khan who believes there is still one Dark One who still survives, and actually see this race as the future and not a threat. The effort to find and save the only remaining Dark One is of course rejected by the military. Artyom was assigned to hunt down the survivors.
But who would have thought, that The Dark One that had been apparently not that as long as he predicted? Small and looking harmless, Artyom is caught in a war against Nazi forces and into a conspiracy of a coup launched by one of Russia's own top brass. Learning the efforts of one of the Red Army generals - Korbut who seeks to control the D6 military facilities and control Metro, Artyom takes on greater responsibility. Strangely again? The small Dark One who survived this became a loyal comrade that helped him overcome the troops and mutants who did not hesitate to kill Artyom's life in an instant.
Maintaining its roots as an FPS game, almost no innovation can be noticed from Metro: Last Light from the mechanical side of the gameplay offered. You just have to move from one point to another, while trying to survive. There is no obligation to make a direct confrontation with all the threats that are in sight, especially when dealing with armed humans. You can infiltrate and move to the destination without having to kill anyone, or choose to play stealth - just paralyze or kill their lives. Open war is adrenaline, but it produces a greater risk, especially considering the limited number of bullets.

Not only do you encounter Red Line and Nazi troops who hunt you for their respective agendas, you also have to fight against a series of mutated creatures that encounter a dangerous outer world. Unlike humans capable of attacking you remotely, most of these creatures will challenge through melee attacks, and, of course, through their massive quantity. Being more capable of bringing psychological pressure from panic, tranquility and some shotgun bullets will help you be the best answer. Metro: Last Light also injects some "boss fight" to satisfy the atmosphere.
But the best part of Metro: Last Light is the consistency of 4A Games to make this post-apocalyptic world condition as realistic as possible. Not only armed with weapons, you will also be equipped with some basic tools to survive, from a bullet-shaped lighter, compass, and map, to a gas mask that plays the most crucial war. With nuclear dust and radiation still littering the outside world, you do have to rely on this one mask to survive. Through a real-time clock on your left wrist, you can see how much time your filter mask provides. Out and without replacement, then you will be killed because of shortness of breath. Not only filters, each gas mask also has a certain endurance. Damaged because it is often attacked will also produce the same effect.
If there is one sentence that can describe the community formed from the Metro franchise over the years, then the "obsession with bullets" may be the most appropriate word. Not only your bullet-shaped lighter, this limited resource also forces you to undergo open battles much more effectively. The best part? These bullets are even positioned as the currency in the world of Metro: Last Light. This rare high-quality bullet will be the attraction of the transaction, not only when you buy items for survival, or just bullets, but also modified to strengthen the main weapons you are carrying.
In contrast to most of the same themed games that might represent the post-apocalyptic world from just the offered design environment, Metro: Last Light integrates it into the gameplay side - especially through the mechanism of gas masks and bullets as valuable currency. Conflict war against the mutant and armed forces, of course, be a super sweet spice to enjoy this one game. You will be taken to engage in a fascinating world of destruction.

The opportunity to grow together with the main character will indeed help gamers build the emotional attachment to the games they play, a concept that is not foreign in the gaming industry. Some Western RPG games even openly give the freedom to determine the morality of the main character through a range of choices and consequences. A concept that is also apparently applied by 4A Games is "hidden" in Metro: Last Light on this one. A "secret" that may not be known by most gamers who have even completed it in a short time.
Covertly perfect in the overall gameplay you play, 4A Games does not clearly show what options and missions will affect the level of morality of the Arytom character you are using. Integrated into the gameplay so hidden, some of these actions and missions do not even look significant. It does not even contain clear indicators for any action. You may accidentally meet a captured NPC and rescue it, or return a teddy bear to a small child, or just a musical instrument. But who would have thought that all these actions turned out to have a consequence of its own morality?
There are several small, random, and action missions that will shape Arytom towards a good moral side, including infiltrating multiple missions without killing anyone or anything, listening to existing NPC stories, to giving your precious bullets to beggars in one of the cities. Then the consequences of what makes all the "side quest" this one interesting to pursue? The fact that Metro Last Light turned out to have two different endings. Disregarding most of these missions, then you will most likely get a bad ending for Metro: Last Light. Successfully complete most of it, then you will get the end of the story of this actual post-apocalyptic battle.
A beauty in a shattered and silent world, this may be the first impression you get from Metro: Last Light. The 4A Engine is able to facilitate 4A Game's needs to build a post-apocalyptic setting that truly spoils the eye, not only at the level of detail but also from its own design. Full of debris and corpse jacks, every area you explore as it contains their own unique memories. The fact that this destruction can be integrated on the side of gameplay that makes gas masks and bullets a crucial resource is also a good plus point for thumbs up. Although there is no meaningful innovation on the gameplay side as an FPS game, besides of course unique weapons of interest, freedom and the tendency to take the stealth playing path at several levels of presenting also offer its own charm.
So does this mean Metro Last Light comes without a weakness? Unfortunately, there are some shortcomings that deserve to be noted. Despite its stunning visuals, the animated motion and voice act offered sound unbalanced and rigid. Especially when you hear the sound of Arytom at every turn of the chapter. The second fatal flaw? The fact that the 4A Games made Ranger Mode - the difficulty level of Metro Last Light as a separate DLC that cannot be obtained by any means other than buying it directly is also a severe blow. Extra money for a new difficulty level? Not a smart business plan.
But apart from these shortcomings, Metro: Last Light manages to show a fascinating appeal, at least able to continue the torch of the previous series - Metro 2033, not only as a game with the best visualization level when released but also one of the post-apocalyptic world representations charming and evocative. Absolutely, worth to play!
I should give this a try, looks interesting!
You must try it :)
