The Wolfenstien series of games that make you kill the Nazis continuously as long as we have their story and style of play. But if you're looking for the same experience with Wolfenstein: Youngblood, you'll never get it. The game focuses on just one thing: playing style. You will clearly feel that this is just a subset of the series 'fans' delusion until the studio releases the complete series sequel

Developer: MachineGames

Publisher: Bethesda

The game will be played by Jess and Soph B.J. Blazkowicz Champion of the main series, you can play the game alone or with one of your friends in a cooperative style. For me, I have finished most of the game myself but have tried it with a friend for several hours, but unfortunately I can summarize the game with a sentence that it is a cooperative fighting game without spirit. Bethesda, the publisher of this game, has always relied on individual games. It has tried to present one of its games as a game as service and it was a disastrous experience like what we saw with Fallout 76, but it did the same thing with Youngblod. , The game has daily and weekly challenges to get different items and updates. The game has three different coin types as well as emotes that give features such as increasing your shield or blood or making you bulletproof for five seconds. The game also has things you can buy to increase (boost) health, armor and store points.

This is not terrible by itself, but it is something we have never experienced from the series that has long been far from it, and for me to have microtransactions in an individual game is unacceptable. It is a trading system that supports the game as a service - the market that Bethesda is supposed to keep away from.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is the only thing I've ever seen. If you try Wolfenstein: The New Order, you'll feel a fairly similar style of play. The game depends on the fighting directly, if you want to end the game undercover you will never enjoy, because the game wants you to kill a Nazi and move to kill another Nazi in addition to the robots that will attack you. But the difference from the previous part is that in this part there are shield points, where your health points will not be affected as long as there is a shield and this was new in the chain and is also available to the opponents.

There are several different types of weapons and each weapon does a different damage based on the type of armor, which means that a firearm may be more useful than the other depending on the type of Nazi standing in front of you, the Shotgun is usually useful when the fighting is close , But if the Nazi in front of you is not affected by bullets, you will have to find another way to kill him. You may think that this will make the game more tactical, but in fact all you can do is kill dozens of Nazis who are in front of you without thinking.

The level system has been introduced in the game, which is new to the traditional game chain, where your level will affect the number of damage you will make to enemies. When you reach the new level will increase the number of damage caused by the addition you will get points of promotion you can use three different skills trees. When you encounter a Nazi at a higher level you will end most of your stores to kill him. You will be able to increase your strength by ending the side missions or by the continuous killing of the Nazis in stages, this is known as Grinding. But is this really what we expect from a game based on the Wolfenstein series? of course no.

The tasks of the game are very weak and there are very few basic stages and the rest of the tasks are all side. You'll get side-by-side through the NPCs from the Catacoms in Paris, and all the side steps are bad and without spirit. You'll have to go somewhere to find something and kill the Nazis and come back to get the job and get news points to raise your level. Surely some of you may say that the game depends on killing directly but killing without meaning and meaning is not really fun.

Your main task will be to eliminate three Nazi generals in Paris. In order to be able to kill them, you have to reach a certain level, and here you will have to start side-by-side and kill the Nazis on an ongoing basis only to raise your level and play the main mission. They are boring things to the mind and will make you feel like a robot that has to do its job whether it wants it or not. Often the tasks are as follows: Find this, spend that Nazi, achieved in a certain area - all these things belong to the previous generation.

The characters in the game Jess and Sophie will be with each other all the time, but the dialogues are grossly vile and bad and make it closer to the characters much more difficult and you will feel abhorrent all there is no communication between them. When you play the single stage, you will control one of the twins. For me, you chose Soph, the second sister was controlled by artificial intelligence. Unfortunately, intelligence was normal and below average. In the final task of the game when you fought the last leader, Most of the time you can not hide from the strikes, then you have to save them or you will lose the task, and when you go to save them you will lose a lot of points of your life to get out of the middle of the battle. The thing that surprised me a lot is that the game depends heavily on its experience in a collaborative mode, but you will not be able to try it on the same device as Split-screen, which is strange and shameful to the studio.

Fortunately, fighting - outside the armor system - is what keeps you going. There is no better feeling than using your double jump and landing in the ground to get rid of some Nazis, then running to the next group and sliding to the ground and being shot. You can kill them the way you want, which will keep you going on in Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Arkane Studio, which provided us with games such as Dishonored and Prey to work with MachineGame on the design of the stages, we see clearly. Areas and buildings often have different places to hide secrets and a whole range of holdings within them, and the main tasks always have more than one way of bypassing a closed door. Whether by entering the air hole in a corner or using a particular weapon to vaporize or break the lock, there will always be a different way forward. It is sad that the game in which it was performed was not the best.

One of the best things about Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is her amazing story, but this sub-section completely abandons it with the exception of some good scenes at the beginning and end of the game. The twins, Jess and Soph, arrived in Paris in search of their missing father, the BG series champion. Blazkovic. After meeting the resistance, you are then asked to kill the three Nazi generals mentioned above in order to reach the X laboratory and this is until you reach the end of the game.

It feels like a 30-minute story that has been extended for six hours to have a "playable story". There is nothing really you can say about the story except that it is weak and nonexistent. This is a shame because the previous parts of the game provided us with one of the best stories of shooting games from the first perspective for a long time.

The game has beautiful graphics suitable for the current generation, but I encountered some technical errors such as what happened at the bottom of the map in a way I do not die, but the technical error that started from the first ten minutes of the game and continued until the end is a mistake in the sound, where the sound went completely after the first ten minutes of the game , And was going and coming a lot during my lead release.

When you buy the Deluxe version of the game you will get the Buddy Pass which allows you to invite one of your friends to try the game with you for free. It is especially nice that the game depends on the cooperative style significantly. This will increase the beauty of the game experience to some extent, because you will enjoy killing more with a friend.

Positives:

  • A fun and exciting fighting mechanism

  • Killing the Nazis with a friend increases the fun of the game

  • Design stages are rewarding and exploreable

Negatives:

  • A short and boring story

  • Stages are very bad and repetitive

  • Dialogues between the main characters are trite and weak

  • Intelligent intelligence is bad for twins and enemies

  • Some technical errors

Final Evaluation

The Story - 1.5

Play Style - 7

Graphics - 7.5

Votes - 6.5

.

The Nazis killed the game with fun, especially with a friend, but this part is the worst of the series and contains a story that is very weak. The game may appeal to the original series lovers who longed for the feeling of killing the Nazis, while people who are looking for a full game will not like
