I love Monster Hunter more than a person should. It's especially fun if you have an equally dedicated friend to help hunt monsters with you, but you can still find plenty people online to play with you if your friends don't play the game. If you like killing large boss monsters and making gear you'll love the game. Main objective of Monster Hunter is kill big monsters. Make cool weapons/armor out of their body parts! Maybe I'll do a 3DS monster hunter review soon.
I love this series. A little grindy but I guess that's what I like about it. Thank you for reporting on it. Last time I played it was on Wii U I think.
Monster Hunter can be a little grindy, but that's kind of the point. Some people don't enjoy that, but I love making new gear with drops! That's what drew me to the first game initially. The whole aspect of using "carves" from things you killed to make weapons was appealing as opposed to just "monster dropped a fully made sword! ..for some reason".

I have only played the Demo of the generations game. Is the series good?
