I feel you man, I do. Though I also feel I have to keep in mind that I am so much older and out of the sit on the couch and play world than I used to be. I wrote about it in a post last week too.
I saw Torchlight 2 onsale for 4 bucks on GOG a couple weeks back, asked around for my old videogame friends to join in and no one did. Some because it was on PC and we're primarily console guys. My favorite excuse was because "He bought a house." However, that sentiment was echoed in my Diablo head friend who is ALSO buying a house and renovating his old one...
I mean... this is just some old people shit I guess lol. I had to move to Cambodia to avoid it. Even when we have time to get together, our best bet is to play Monopoly. Everybody knows it, it doesn't require any sort of reflexes, talking shit actually makes you better at it, and there's far less of a gender difference in terms of who grew up playing it.
I love couch co-op, but I lack the squad to really enjoy it. The ONLY saving grace is sports games which people will still show up for. I'm thinking I make an appeal to Steemit to get some gamage in around the world. I got torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn!
The Torchlight games were awesome. I Have heard people say they 'bought a house' excuse to stay on and not go out. I am an avid Diablo 3 player myself. Not as much this year as last. It seems the easy thing as we all get older is stay in and save by not getting out the same as 20s and 30s.
Yeah, going out starts to suck when you get old. I had to move to Cambodia to keep the party going lol
My relocation's have been from Las Vegas to Florida to California, Iowa and now Colorado. Not necessarily in that order and I may have missed a few locations.
Torchlight was awesome. I got to help with some of the PR stuff for that one. Great game. I want to get Torchlight II but doubt my computer could run it (it has trouble opening a browser window at this point).
Yeah, I had to turn a few things off with my softer computer. Let me know if you ever get to playing!
I will.
