Not a bad result.
It's a long time since i used to breeze up through Diamond leagues with a lot more cards and competition for places since beta cards.
Now it's a tough slog to break out of diamond leagues and a lot of player with a lot better decks ahead of me after that. Regardless we made it through another season and can look forward to claiming my rewards for it.
Rewards time.
For this batch of reward cards I've been following the chest strategy. More chests means more rewards. Since it's end of season that means that chest prices reset after maxing them out last time around and i can go again.
With 245,000 GLINT to hand that means a nice batch of reward chests to open today. Straight away I'm going to open the max amount of ultimate chess. Apply full potions and see what happens.
30 Ultimate chests - 135,000
110 Major chests - 110,000
Total result from 245K of chests:
0 Legendary at 0
2 Epic at 15000
29 Rare at 21750
223 Common at 33450
1 GF common at 3500
- 52 Energy 146300
- 24000 Merits at 48000
For a total value of - 268,000 from 245,000 of chests.
Summary of the season rewards.
I have to say that this is the first time since starting to check the value of my rewards that the chests have put me in a negative space compared to buying cards directly in the glint store.
I know that technically I received more value than i paid but when you see that 185k of the rewards was in energy and merits it's not really a win.
I suppose that it was inevitable really. If it was a profit making machine then there would be no point in ever drawing cards but i've never had a batch that looked this poor. No legendaries, just two epic and barely a gold foil to be seen.
It won't put me off going for it again at the end of the next season but like the last batch of cards i think that I will be struggling to max out the legendaries in the last few days.

Just need to get there more consistently now.
I've just been getting the card chests first, and then the others. I've managed to max out my commons today (I had 2 left), and I've now got 2 or 3 rares maxed with most of the rest at lvl 7 and a couple still at 6. Epics are all lvl 4 but they are getting closer to 5. I rent 500k SPS which bumps my winnings to around 2k glint per win, so I get about 200k doubled to 400k each season. This season I was able to skip the common chests so I did rare and epic and then all of the ultimate plus 43 major. Gonna stick with that plan until the rares are maxed and then I'll bump to epics and legendary.
