Great post! I agree with you on HDD option, but you could also go for a very cheap SSD with less storage for much of the same price (given that you have an external storage)

Its the same thing i mentioned in the post.. its always like adding itty bitty things from here and there which will increase the cost of your PC overall.. in 45$, at best, you will be able to get like 120 gb SSD with an average performance. So you can save yourself 45$ from it. However, if you budget has no constraints then definitely i would recommend dual drives. One SSD for applications, softwares and windows while HDD for normal storage..
