Kalista “The Spear of Vengeance”.png

Kalista, a specter of anger and punishment, is the immortal spirit of revenge, an armored nightmare that arrives from the Islands of the Shadow to hunt down deceivers and traitors. It may be that all those who have been betrayed ask for revenge with tears of blood, but Kalista only responds to those he considers worthy of his dexterity. Woe to those who become the target of their anger, because any pact sealed with the grim hunter can only end in the cold flames of their spiritual spears.

In life, Kalista was a proud general, niece of the powerful monarch of an empire that nobody remembers anymore. He was governed by a strict code of honor and expected others to do the same and serve their kings with total loyalty. His king had numerous enemies, and when the lords of a conquered country sent an assassin to kill him, only the speed of Kalista's arm could prevent disaster. But in saving the king he condemned the queen. The assassin's sheet, which was poisoned, wounded his master's wife in the arm. The greatest priests, surgeons, and sorcerers were called, but no one could extract the poison from the queen's body. Not even the magic of the king could do anything other than slow down his progress. Mad with regret, the monarch sent Kalista in search of a cure. Before leaving, the general summoned the Lord of the Iron Order, Hecarim, and ordered him to occupy his place next to the king. Hecarim accepted the task reluctantly, since he would have preferred to go with her to the search.

Kalista traveled the world looking for a cure among scholars, hermits and mystics, but always in vain. Finally he heard of a legendary place, hidden beyond the eyes of mortals, where, it was said, the key to eternal life was hidden: the Blessed Isles. Without hesitation, he set out in search of her. The inhabitants of the island were aware of their search and, perceiving the purity of their intentions, decided to let their boat reach their shores.

Kalista begged them to heal the queen and the lord of the order told him that he should take her there so they could purify her body. Upon boarding his ship again, they revealed the words of power that would allow him to pass through the enchantments that protected the island, but warned him not to reveal them to anyone. Kalista left to return to its mother country, but arrived late: The queen already had died.

When he opened his eyes again, the shadowy power of unnatural magic shone in them. The Blessed Isles had been transformed into a sinister parody of life and beauty, a kingdom of darkness populated by howling spirits condemned to the nightmare of non-death for all eternity. Kalista did not know how that had happened, but even though she tried to cling to the memories of her betrayal, they faded away little by little, leaving nothing but a burning thirst for vengeance in her chest.

A thirst that will only appease the blood of traitors.

Skills in the game.png

Kalista is a highly mobile attack damage champion with high coupling potential and excellent utility. She brings a tremendous game to the start and a utility for the last game with her kit. Its unique cooperative strengths make it the most unique attack load of the game. In addition to their great skills that provide damage, slowdown to save or attack with your partner in this case a support.

Martial Poise.png

Kalista's passive is to throw the black spear at an allied champion by means of a ritual that at the conclusion of their souls are linked by the rest of the game since it needs to be tied to an ally in order to use the passive skill of Guardian and Call of the destination. In addition, when executing a movement command during his basic attacks or his ability, Crossing will move a short distance in the direction of his attack and increase his mobility.

Pierce.png

The first Kalista ability activated with the "Q" key is to cast a spear that inflicts physical damage to the first hit enemy of 10 to 250 life points. And in case of killing an enemy with this ability transfers all the accumulations of Tear to the next victim that impacts. This ability has a reuse of 8 seconds and a range of 1450 meters.

Sentinel.png

This ability activated with the "W" key has 2 phases, the passive is that when you link your soul with your partner and attack the same enemy, the target will receive an additional magic damage equal to the percentage of your maximum life, however this effect can only occur every 6 seconds. When activated this ability sends a guardian to a point that will provide a view of the battlefield except in the overgrown terrain and return to the starting point, giving a total of 7 laps and can be destroyed by a champion or an enemy tower. But the guardian will find an enemy will scream like an alarm and will follow it for 4 seconds informing the enemy's position. Kalista can get a load of 2 guards every so often. The cooldown is 30 seconds.

Rend.png

The passive of this ability consists in nailing the throws in the enemy during 4 seconds without limit in the amount of spears that can nail in a target. When activating with the "E" key, it starts the spears of the nearby enemy causing magical damage of 20 to 60 points and slowing down the enemy from 25 to 45% for 2 seconds, in addition the damage is increased in percentage for each spear and if it kills an enemy the ability has no reuse and restores a quantity of mana.

Fate’s Call.png

Kalista's special ability grabs his bound soul, which gives them speed of movement and then throw him into a proper position or the enemy to hit him and throw him into the air for 1.5 seconds. This ability is activated with the "R" key and has a reuse of 90 to 60 seconds depending on the level of Kalista.

My Review.png

I love Kalista his point for me is the ability to move and explosive damage, although he does not have a special ability that represents his greatest damage is a very competitive and fantastic champion adc. Of course it requires a support partner especially a tank that protects it from damage and that can use its special ability against enemies.

I must say that their passive ability is one of the best because when they link their soul with that of their partner in this case a support, when they attack the same target they do a greater amount of damage and increasing their movement and attack speed which allows them to poker many times better or kill the enemy, giving them the opportunity to advance in the lines phase.

Kalista requires knowledge of combat mechanics, cooperative ability and the ability to make decisions in a fraction of a second and a high-caliber approach in the area that extends between you, your team and the enemy. For that reason it is not a champion anything easy to use on the contrary is considered one of the most difficult in League of Legends since it must be very agile.

But also an ADC that can take difficult games when you are a better player. It's very rewarding if you're doing well with her. You can dodge so many Skillshots and special abilities with your automatic attack mechanics that you are almost immortal when you have a little peeling. Regardless of his level of difficulty, he is a champion who must try and try to practice since he has a good win rate and is one of the most blocked adc in competitions.

To conclude, Kalista is naturally a mobile choice of team-oriented attack damage, as a result, it may be more situational than most ADCs. If you are looking to choose Kalista as a more situational choice as part of your ADC repertoire, there are some key guidelines you should use when playing with Kalista. But with practice they can be achieved. I love the unique game mechanics of Kalista. I hope you liked my review of Kalista!

A champion with unique mechanics. It was re-used after the buff at the end of last year. Today in the championships this being in many regions, pick or ban. This return is also due to the return of the tanks to botlane.

I haven't played Kalista since then @pacokam8
