With both bridges built and her house moved into its final position, my sister’s little island within our island is seeing a lot of improvements! She worked on paving and decoration yesterday and today, and it’s turning into a wonderful haven for plastic flamingoes.
She never actually got a proper bed for her house, so as a gift I got her a racecar bed. She adores it. Did you know when you flop onto it, it beeps and lights up? God tier game design, in my book.
I also got that billiards table for the arcade! Although I suppose that since I don’t have many arcade machines but do have darts and billiards, it more resembles Penguin Sniper from Persona 5 Royal...
There’s now more space in front of the museum, so work has begun on the exterior and its connection to the mainland. I’m demolishing an old bridge and building a new one for this purpose, but now we have pathways marked out and a courtyard outside of the museum!
The next step there is working on a proper flower garden in the area. This is a top priority. Our island has a flower problem. We have seas of flowers. Please send help.
In other news, Pietro visited the campsite today! I love Pietro, and if it were my island, I would have taken him in in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, my sister has a bad fear of clowns, so I simply had to enjoy his company today.
K.K. Slider also visited today! Wendy and Tangy were gathered for a concert, so naturally I matched their peppy personalities by filling my catalog and requesting Comrade K.K. It’s actually a really pretty, albeit very solemn song. And we finished the week out with a little tradition of mine, an encore concert of K.K. Bossa.
Finally, in the most important news of all, I caught Joey sleeping today, and it was adorable.
