The PokeSTEEM Battle League is challenging the @steemit community to take part in this week's tournament. Members of the community can battle Pokemon for a chance at the Weekly Rewards earned from this post. Those players who place within the Top 20 battlers of the week will receive the reward.
All players are welcome to make posts about their battles and take part in spreading the word of the PokeSTEEM community by using the hashtags #pokesteem #pokesteembattleleague or the current weeks hashtag example #week5pokesteem. Spreading the word of the community helps bring more rewards to the pool and will hopefully encourage the Pokemon community to want to use this platform.
This tournament will end on Sunday at 11:59 PM and all battles marked in the battle verification log will be used for the earnings leaderboard and distributed according to the following brackets.

OverUsed Format Tournament
Smogon is one of the top Pokemon communities online that has created a comprehensive and accurate online resource for competitive Pokémon battling. Within it's main site smogon.com they offer a huge amount of articles and advice from their community to help fans of the game compete at every level, while honing their skills in every aspect of competitive Pokémon from team building to battling tactics.
OU (Overused) is Smogon's fundamental usage-based tier. Pokemon that are listed underneath the Overused tier are more than 50% likely to be used by professional players. Any Pokémon from theUU, RU, NU, and PU tiers may be used. While all non-Uber Pokémon can be used in OU, only those Pokémon that make up at least ~3.41% of total weighted usage in the tier are designated 'OU.'

In order for Players to participate in the tournament you must create teams using the Teambuilder found on Pokemon Showdown.
