PixArk trades the realistic paint of Ark: Survival Evolved against voxel environments from Cubeworld or Minecraft.
PixArk is developed by Snail Games, which the Ark developers took over two and a half years ago, and will launch on Steam in early 2018 and on Xbox Games Preview in March 2018. The full version will be released for the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and Nintendos Switch as well.
The next step in early access is based on the "fantastic results" at Ark and "experimental technologies and features". What the developers understand by this remains open. However, there is no roadmap, it should be presented in the course of early access. The only announcement is that the costs will increase after completion, just like Minecraft.
The world is populated with more than 100 different creatures, including dinosaurs, magical creatures such as dragons. A progression system with ability trees is planed. Characters can also be customized.
There are only a few basic facts known about the game. Players will fight for their survival alone or in groups. Materials can be mined and buildings, tools and weapons can be built. In "Creative Mode" everything can be constructed without survival and material limitation.
Wow this is amazing :)
