I'm OBSESSED With This New Roguelite - Nautical Survival

A few days ago I posted about Nautical Survival. A new roguelite auto-shooter that I have been enjoying a lot. I've been having a lot of good talks with the developer of the game and decided to sit down and create a video in the style I did for Halls of Torment and other games in the same roguelite genre. I am here to show off the result.

It's been a while...

It's been a while since I created a video like this and to me it shows. I had to restart the recording several times just because I was rusty in coming up with an intro to the video on the fly. I used to bang these out like they were nothing back in the day when I did this almost on the daily. Still, by the end I was relatively happy with the result. At a point you just gotta say that it's good enough and move on.

The whole process of creating this video sort of embodies why I stopped doing this even while my channel was on a high point. The entirety of this video took me roughly 2,5 hours to produce. That's 25 minutes of gaming and 2 hours of video editing, creating thumbnails and working on SEO on YouTube. That's 4 times more work than actually playing the game.

This is mostly why I've changed to streaming games more instead of making videos. I might dip into creating some videos here and there but I doubt I'll be back to creating videos like this on the regular.

I'm not affiliated with this game and I don't get paid to create content for it and market it. Still, if you think this game looks cool please go and wishlist it on Steam HERE. The developer is a really cool guy and if he gets 7000 wishlists he will be able to fully release the game into early access. That will let him work more on the game as well. He currently needs roughly 1500 more wishlists for that to happen.
