Every level you go up, you will get a skill point which you can use to unlock, or upgrade the Star Card you want to use on your character. While for loot crate wouldn't contain a Star Card and you can only get through daily login, and challenge provided, loot crate this will only contain cosmetic items like emote or victory poses. To update a microtransaction with the latest design you will be able to enjoy it and implemented 22 March 2018.
