Hello there, Steemit community!
I'm really sorry for not posting this week, but mock exams have had me concentrated on my studies for the whole week, therefore, I couldn't spend enough time to make a good post for you guys!
But, now that I'm here, I'd like to talk about the new operators that have been released over the past week. As I mentioned in the title, the 3 operators and the new map have been presented through some trailers that the Ubisoft YouTube channel has uploaded.
The new siege map
The new map is known as Mok Myeok Tower. This map will be a high tech communications tower based in the heart of Seoul. From the trailer, the map will be very vertical and include underpasses for easy flanking routes for roamers.
Here is the trailer for the new map, where you can see the different shots of the map for yourself.
The 3 new operators
Because of the delay in release of operators due to Operation Health fixing bugs and improving gameplay. We saw 3 operators being released in the current operation: 1 Polish Operator, Ela, and 2 chinese operators, Ying and Lesion. The next season will include the attacking polish operator, alongside the 2 South Korean operators.
Zofia
"The well-known, decorated officer Zofia Bosak is joining Team Rainbow. She is the second Specialist from Poland’s counter-terrorism unit GROM to integrate into Rainbow, the first being her younger sister, Elzbieta Bosak"
Zofia is the attacker that will represent the polish special forces (GROM). Her main ability will be the double barrel grenade launcher that can fire either concussion or impact grenades, based on the players choice.
Here is her loadout and her operator trailer
Vigil
"The 7.62x39mm round that glanced off his ballistic mask had crumpled and exposed the honeycomb of polymers beneath the black paint, deforming the cheek plate. The absorption padding sucked down some of the punch, but the hydrostatic shock had still rung his head like a bell. The headache lingered, the bruised cheek had turned a deep purple, but the mask itself… the mask had earned retirement on his wall. The rows of battle damaged masks staring back at him, each one a scar and a trophy, each one more of his face than the one that stared back at him in the mirror."
The defending South Korean operator's specific details are still hidden as they will be presented this weekend, but the rumor is that he will be most likely invisible to drones.
The loadout is still to be fully confirmed, but his guns are clearly for Close Quarter Combat, with the option of an SMG and a shotgun, followed by one of 2 machine pistols
His trailer remains mysterious, but gives us an idea of what his ability may be:
Dokkaebi
"Her fingers dance across the keyboard, the light of the LCD screen underscoring her smirk. Each line of code is a triumph building toward terminal velocity. She dances around firewalls and rewards herself with sips of her third energy drink tonight. She’s trying to cut down and four is her concession. She’s no brute force thug or clickjacker, and in the short order of a few days, she’s finally managed to get inside. With one last click, she carefully taps the [Enter] button and send the words that will either make her, or break her…‘Hello, Rainbow Six.’ "
Dokkaebi is the attacking operator for the South Korean special forces. Her leaks show her to be some sort of specialist hacker, but theres no specification on her actual gameplay ability.
Here is her loadout and her operator video:
And that' s all for this post! I know that myself and many other siege players are excited to see the reveal and the release of these new operators and try them out on the field! Thank you so much for reading this post, always appreciated!
