Love 'em or hate 'em, Amiibos have become an insanely popular and hugely popular figure line for Nintendo. While the purpose of actually owning them besides being shelf candy is debatable, you can't deny that they have a dedicated group of fans and collectors.

Interesting post (upvoted), I personally do not collect or use Amiibo's but I will be taking note of these valuable ones and trying to see if I can find any out in retail land. I do have one amiibo, Wolf Link/Midna that came with my copy of Twilight Princess WiiU. Its still in the package, on a book shelf in my living room above the tv, on display pretty much.
