History
Ken Kutaragi was a Sony computer engineer who was very fond of video games who was proposing the idea of a new video console that offered the graphics capabilities of a workstation and the CD-ROM drive but no one agreed with his idea because Sony Already tried to finish entering the video game market, it was not later 2 years later where Teruo Tokunaka took him to see the president Norio Ohga to put forward his idea.
The efforts of Kutaragi bore fruit by making the company go ahead with their idea, however not to be responsible for the consequences of the bet, the company derived the project to Sony Music. The company would not have a video game section until shortly after signing agreements with Sony Computer Entertainment.
It was first released in Japan on December 3, 1994, achieving almost instant success. Shortly after it was released in Europe and the United States obtaining another success instantly.
The PlayStation exceeded one hundred million consoles sold.

On the other hand is the Multitap that has the purpose of playing more than 2 players at a time in a single game contains a cable that has an output equal to that of the controls and has 4 control inputs (A, B, C and D).
Finally it highlights the Analog Command that was created to play 3D games was equipped with two analog pads one for the movement and the other to observe the game environment in addition to the vibration function in its next version known as DualShock With a size a little bigger than the other.
This was very educational. I started my playstation journey at 2 though so I never got to really explore this one.
