1972 - "Odissey" The First Marketed Console
The first commercialized console in history was the Odyssey, developed by the company Magnavox, in 1972, in the United States. The device was sold in Brazil later, in the late 1970s. Manufactured by Philco and Ford, the console became known as Telejogo, which consisted of lines that went up and down to hit a square.
