Awesome Co-op Skyrim MOD coming soon !

The idea of playing Skyrim with a friend has been tantilising since the release of Bethesda’s RPG back in 2011. As of next month, you might just be able to as the team behind the Skyrim Together mod has projected an October release.

Though Elder Scrolls Online was an enjoyable experience for some... and includes throwbacks to the beloved Morrowind with new classes and familiar stomping grounds, many die-hard Skyrim fans were not looking for an MMO experience.
Because of this, modders went into overdrive to come up with the perfect solution to bridge that gap between Skyrim and online play - Skyrim Together !

Many other mods tried to add this co-op functionality... like Tamriel Online, which was one of the first and which has been followed by numerous others, but the best progress seems to have been done by Skyrim Together which allows you to play with “2+ players.”

Skryim Together is in its final stages of polishing and aims to be fully released in October.
Since the team is hard at work on smoothing out a few kinks still left in its programming, October isn’t a guaranteed date as the team are working part-time around their jobs and real life commitments, but the team “should be able to get it out this year at least” as they put it in an interview with PCGamer.

Although the team behind Skyrim Together is focusing on the vanilla game functions first, beyond its first stable release they aim to create an API for content creators to craft their own mods surrounding the build, as shown by the video below:
