I can't speak for @btcmillionaire, but I remember when the first Fable came out, and this really does look decent.
In fact, I remember BEFORE the first Fable came out. I was working at Toys R Us in their video games department back in 2001/2002, and with the release of Xbox Microsoft had a big retailer event and they had their reps out a few times to talk to us.
I remember them talking about Fable and the ideas of it were so ground-breaking... the idea that you could take this character and grow them through their whole life, and how the decisions your character made in that life would impact the game later on. Raid a village when you're 14 and when you're 40 the brother of the man you killed in that raid will come back to get you, kinda thing.
Not sure if it ever lived up to the promises, but I remember that feeling of wonderment, at the things to come.
