Time for the final fight of the game
All four of divine beasts are recaptured. All memories are recovered. You've got the master sword and it's time to save the kingdom.
Standing in the way is Calamity Ganon. It's lining up to be a hard fight but that's when your companions piloting the Divine beasts move in.
They open fire in defense of Hyrule.
This crushing blow smites Calamity Ganon dealing some heavy damage.
Now that your friends have chipped in it is master sword time. Ganon has multiple attacks and different phases he goes through during the fight. Hack and slash is not the right mindset going in.
Because he will armor up.
Because he plans on wrecking your face. And Hyrule.
And you finally trounce him. Link (in my case) swung the sword, shot arrows, pulled out all the stops in order to crush this abomination once and for all. And Link struck the final blow, or did he?
Enter the next phase of the fight, Dark Beast Ganon. Now he is in pure monster mode and so big you wish you had a mech suit from Pacific Rim. But you don't.
You have a horse. And this horse will do. As you ride around Dark Beast Ganon you attempt striking different points to do damage with a bow.
Firing a bow from horseback, pretty badass to be honest.
The further down his health gets the more he attempts to bathe you in flames and corruption. Ganon refuses to stay down.
And with the final blow, Ganon is defeated. All thanks to a horse, because without him you would probably be a piece of charcoal right about now.
You see a small glint of a female figure descending into the battlefield.
Princess Zelda is finally freed.
And she casts Ganon away with the power of her magic, her ability to seal the darkness to keep Hyrule safe.
And thanks to the quest text, you can breathe easy. Because it's over. Hyrule is finally safe.
Zelda thanks you for coming back for her and being the hero Hyrule needs.
And for defending the kingdom when no one else could. You get a lovely view of Hyrule castle as the shot pans out. You've done it.
You've beaten the game.
I hope you enjoyed this post. I tried to choose the best screenshots and there were a lot to choose from but I figured I would go heavy handed on the pictures on this one. I figured now that I've got a better grasp on this and I just started Master Mode on Saturday when the dlc came out that it was time to share an epic battle with all of you.
There is more to come from Breath of the Wild.
Master Mode posts will begin soon. I wrote this on my esteem app. I love it because I can write whenever I want and schedule it to post when the rest of you are awake to read it. I recommend it people, it's good stuff. Thanks for reading, I love getting comments, and Steem on!
That looks like an epic last-boss fight! I've never gotten around to play the new Zelda yet, but it sure seems stunningly beautiful!
It is amazing. There are more games out for the switch right now but Zelda is eating up all my switch time. It is so great to play.

Hi @rotfoot ! I didn't read your post because i wanted to avoid spoil but now i have beat Ganon !! I'm a little disappointed, it was too easy ... and the end is a little worse than I thought! But with the DLC just released I leave for new adventures, you bought it too?
Indeed. I've already spent a bit of time over the weekend in Master Mode. It is so nuts and the difficulty is turned up to 11, I love it!
Great ! I complete some new quests and i test master mode too ! :)
Awesome! I cant wait to get the korok mask myself, so many koroks!
