Top 5 Characters That Should Return In The Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 could be here as soon as next year. I am excited for MK11 and can't wait to see where NetherRealm Studios goes with it. Here is my list of my top 5 characters for Mortal Kombat 11 that were in games before MK X and need to make a comeback
5.Havik

A cleric of Chaos, dwelling in the aptly-named Chaosrealm, Havik was introduced to the franchise in Mortal Kombat: Deception and was quickly accepted as one of the few interesting new characters of his generation. With little story outside of his intent to disrupt order and topple those who employ it, namely his discontent for the zealot Hotaru of Seido, the Orderrealm. Havik was favoured for his aesthetic which comprised of a decaying corpse dressed up in twisted battle attire coupled with macabre moves in Kombat. Tearing off his head and rolling it towards the opponent, or snapping his knees backwards to discharge a projectile were testament to his chaotic nature. There is a lot that could be done with Havik in Mortal Kombat 11, notably with his move-set. Dependent on the complexity of animation technology, Havik could contort and dislocate various parts of his body during combo's to make you cringe and smirk at the twisted genius the developers have put in. His contribution to the story could prove exciting, given he seeks only to enact chaos and is a persistent troublemaker. Allies he may have but a few, but adversaries could tally up if this servant of chaos is untethered from his shackles.

4.Frost

An arrogant and discipline-challenged cyromancer cut from the same cloth of Mortal Kombat's favourite ice-caster, Frost introduced herself in MK: Deadly Alliance under the tutelage of Sub-Zero. Fashioning her ice-tempered hair into spiky shards, Frost made for an interesting appearance and divided the MK community in half. 'She's just a female Sub-Zero' one side would chant, whilst the other half of the community would welcome her, citing she contrasted well against the blue-clad ice-ninja given her ulterior motive discovered in her ending; catching Sub-Zero off guard with a blast of the frozen element and subsequently ending up consumed by her own power after wielding his Dragon Medallion. Sub-Zero entombed her in an uncharted temple ruin, where he discovered that both he and Frost descend from a lineage of believed-to-be-extinct cyromancers. This can be an interesting plot to develop in the future, could Frost actually share blood with Sub-Zero? Could they discover secrets woven into the history of their race? What of the Dragon Medallion, would she be a force to be reckoned with if she harnesses her power? Could she be the one to befall Sub-Zero? Questions like these just showcase the potential such a character like Frost possesses. Her special moves felt limited in gameplay, moves that Sub-Zero could have easily taken back for himself.Last seen as a cameo in MK X Frost has a great potential to make a comeback in Mortal Kombat 11

3.Rain

An assassin for Shao Kahn, Rain discovered that he was actually from Edenia and turned against the emperor. He disappeared for some time but resurfaced during the events of Armageddon. Discovering he is the son of the god Argus and an Edenian woman, Rain became jealous of his half-brothers Taven and Daegon and sought the prize for himself.Rain appeared as a DLC character in Mortal Kombat 2011, but unlike Kenshi, did not earn a spot on the Mortal Kombat X roster. This is sad, as Rain actually had a pretty big role in the story aiding Mileena in her civil war against Kotal Kahn. Both he and his ally, Tanya, disappear halfway through the story and are not heard from again. It’s about time Rain got some recognition by finally joining the roster in Mortal Kombat XI.

2.Fujin

Fujin has always drawn the short end of the stick. The god of wind has never had the popularity of Raiden. Initially a boss in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, Fujin would become a playable in Mortal Kombat 4, joining Raiden’s forces as they battled Shinnok over control of Edenia. He would then lose his spot on the Mortal Kombat: Deception roster to Fujin has always drawn the short end of the stick. The god of wind has never had the popularity of Raiden. He would then lose his spot on the Mortal Kombat: Deception roster to Raiden, who the developers opted to resurrect as Dark Raiden following his suicidal attempt to defeat Onaga.
Fujin’s fortunes have not improved in the current timeline. Despite being seen in Mortal Kombat X promotional material, Fujin ended up not being playable and was only seen in cutscenes. His fortunes, however, might change in Mortal Kombat XI. Raiden’s corruption at the end of X leaves Fujin in quite the predicament; does he support Raiden’s bloody plans to defend EarthRealm, or does he defect and join the forces attempting to overthrow the crazed god? This should be enough to finally land Fujin a spot on the roster.Raiden, who the developers opted to resurrect as Dark Raiden following his suicidal attempt to defeat Onaga.Fujin’s fortunes have not improved in the current timeline. 1.Onaga

Onaga, the Dragon King ruled as the Emperor of Outworld for hundreds of years. His unique ability to resurrect his fallen troops made him a dangerous adversary. Onaga remained emperor until his most trusted advisor betrayed him. Using poison, Shao Kahn killed the emperor and assumed the throne. Onaga, however, laid out numerous plans to ensure his return to power. Through his loyalists he left a dragon’s egg which would allow him to regain physical form through a host body, and posing as Damashi, Onaga tricked Shujinko into collecting the powerful Kamidogu. His plans would have worked out had Nightwolf not bound his soul to the NetherRealm where he was forced to enter an alliance with Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Shinnok, and Shao Kahn.Onaga’s presence looms heavy over the events of the Mortal Kombat X Comic Series thanks to the introduction of the Kamidogu and an old Shujinko. His abilities are also sought by Goro who seeks to regenerate his missing limbs. The ending of Mortal Kombat X hints at a coming war between EarthRealm, Outworld, and the NetherRealm. In desperation, it’s possible that Kotal Kahn seeks out the Dragon King’s knowledge and abilities in an attempt to repel Raiden. This could put Reptile close to the dragon egg, and once again becoming Onaga’s host body. It’s entirely possible that the events of Deception will take place in the current timeline, and would bring back one of the coolest bad guys in Mortal Kombat history.
