I've been looking at this game for a while, I don't like platformers but many of my friends keep raving about this game. It takes a lot of influence from my favorite game Dark Souls, similar to Salt & Sanctuary, but a very different look and feel. Sort of a cross between Dark Souls, Mario Brothers, and Mega Man.

The graphics are artistic and fun and some of the best non-AAA studio graphics I have seen.

The game includes a few free DLC that expanded the game dramatically. There are roughly 46 bosses if you finish all parts of the game, but you only need to beat around 12 to progress through the game. Many will only be found if you explore the game and find many of the hidden areas.

The game is currently on sale for $9.89 on Humble Bundle and Steam. Both stores have the same game for the same price, including all DLC. Humble Bundle includes a code for the Steam version as well as a DRM free version.

Hollow Knight Game Play

If you are looking for something unique to play, the game is rated for over 30 hours of gameplay for most users and around 50 hours for completionists. With the new DLC (included) there is even more content.

    Just got my xbox gamepad and I think it should be the best gear for platformer game like this. I also heard a lot of good things about this game!
