Video games come in different types and quality. Each gamer has a preference. Some don't play anything outside adventure games while some others may give up their sleep for soccer games. Which ever your choice or preference is, you must have a weird habit you display while playing. Some of these habits might be to celebrate a victory, to exclaim a miss, to express defeat or displeasure, to scorn or sometimes, confuse your opponent, or for so many other reasons.

Some people when playing soccer games, will be moving the game controller around like they are controlling a drone. They are so used to it that they may not notice doing this until someone points it out to them. I know gamers who never smile while playing, as if frowning makes them win.

For me, whenever I play a soccer game and miss a shot at goal, I groan like a woman in labour.
A gamer says "I can't play a horror game if the sun is up, I have to wait until dark, turn off the lights, etc. Also, in games where there isn't a level select (like RPGs) i tend to make permanent saves so I can come back to a part of the game later" - Source
Another gamer says "if theres a swinging object (especially physics based) I immediately and repeatedly headbutt it. No idea why as I usually behave rather serious (I get more immersed in the story) but I have to headbutt physics objects" -Source

I do not have any real weird gaming habits. I have played WoW since phase 1 Alpha of Vanilla wow so thats like over 14 years but thats just loyalty to the brand. The last time i played a console game i do know when i race i move arround like I am actually racing and when i was a kid I used to act out thefighting moves while playing the Ninja Turtle games.
Yeah. That's some weird moves. I'm the days of Super Mario, I used to jump about like Mario. I would be leaping all about.
My weird habit would be... I would occasionally make a sound like "Ugh! Ha! Uwah! Hya!", or yell "Good night... FOREVAH!!" whenever I hit something/enemies or when I finally land a killing blow in action games.
