TF2: How Good is the Dragon's Fury

in #gaming7 years ago

Many People are Saying this one Weapon is Overpowered, That Weapon is the Dragon's Fury

I Talked about the Dragon's Fury Before on Weapon of the Week, which is a Series where i Talk about the Uses of a Single Weapon. but Today I want to talk about How Good this thing Actually is

So as a Comparison Lets Compare it to Demoman's Sticky and Pill Launchers, and Soldier's Rocket Launcher

Base Damage + Max Ramp-up, Max Fall-off

  • Rocket Launcher: 90 (max 112, Min 48)
  • Gernade Launcher: 100 (60 for Rollers)
  • StickyBomb Launcher: 120 (144 Max, 60 Min)
  • Dragon's Fury: 25 (30 Max, 23 Min) ((To Burning Players: Base 75, Ramp-up 90, Fall-off 69))

Overall Damage with Entire clip

  • Rocket Launcher: 192 - 448
  • Gernade Launcher 240 - 400
  • Sticky Bomb Launcher 480 - 960

Overall DPS

  • Dragon's fury: 153 - 183

I dont think it's overpowered, the Reason why people are saying its overpowered is because they keep Encountering it in Tight Spaces and they dont know how to Get away from them, MY only Problem with it is that it takes down buildings too fast.

Think about it, If you keep Dying to a Certain Weapon because you keep Running into it, you dont call it Overpowered. You Change up your Tactics, The Big Reason why People are Calling it Overpowered is because People Like to Complain about Pyro Because that is what they are used to.

Yes, Pyro Can Kill a Light Class in Two shots, but So Can Soldier, Demoman, and Scout, Hell Sniper and Spy can Kill Every Class in one Hit.

Just Stop Complaining about the Dragon's fury, It's Too Early to Determine whenever a Weapon Needs a Buff or Nerf.

Sort:

The dragon's fury is a diffrent type of flamethrower, which is always appreciated. I think it's balanced okay.

Exactly, The Dragon's Fury is Pretty Weak in open Areas Due to there being So much space for it's foes to go to. and You cannot Spam Airblast either with this.
