Good day steemians, welcome to my blog. Today we're going to do a game review on Ignatius. In case you missed my last post were I shared a game review on Day R survival. You can still check it out here
So today we will be doing a game review on Ignatius
Ignatius is an adventure game and a bit of fun action game with a 2d graphical Design of it that tends to make the game look more like a Minor game and of course it's still a minor adventure game cause of it's characters especially. The Ignatius game is simply not only a game but an atmospheric puzzle-platformer game that deals more of narrating how the game was been preceded and also tells much of stories about it. In the scenario is where it tells a story about the adventure game it is and how early the game character began to strive whereby it gets to walk in a dark places shaded with a light black colour all over it and it really looks Scary by the way cause of the kind of graphics it has which looked fabulous with what the game entails. Actually speaking, Ignatius is a cinch due to the fact that there are only four buttons you’ll be using there at the time of the gameplay. You can move forward, backwards, jump and interact. You can also drop down from the nearby areas, but that’s really not essential as you could also just walk forward, but to each their own. You’ll use these commands to run across the worlds you’re in and complete all the tasks assigned. Whether it’s collecting the film rolls, jumping over obstacles, or interacting with puzzles, you shouldn’t have a problem mechanically. It all runs extremely smooth as well and the game is quite fun and interesting cause of it's way of narrating the storyline. The only hang up the game presents is avoiding enemies. At times it seems like the game’s hit boxes are kind of little off, but that shouldn’t cause you too much worries as it’s rarely a not a big problem. You've never being flooded with projectiles or needing to make tight movements.
For some time now I've played the game and I have to admit, I enjoyed it very much but I do always find the radiation issue quite annoying and a bit of complicated. It might seem to be funny saying this but just so you know the game is actually a fun funny game like it has some funny parts of it in most aspects and not really about the characters aspects.
There are quite good enough terrific factors about the game that sounded so positive. The good can be the modes of the game and it's activities towards how it being played stating to the fact that everything about the game modes and it's activities were all good with much of elaborated things on it which equally made the gameplay to be fantastic and kind of a complicated one with some toughness as that's what makes a game to be fun when playing it.
Ignatius game can really be a scary game too because of it's graphics that looked so appalling and that also made it have a lot affirmation distinguished mainly by it's users for there's so much of positiveness about it which can usually turn out to be inferior towards the bad way the same users must have seen it. Visually, Ignatius game has a dark noir look to it with a few other visual themes laced into it such as steampunk, art deco and the other types of it. In all about it, it really does have the aesthetics of silent movies from back in the day, something which the developers points in and out. The soundtrack matches the visual style, giving the entire game a pretty atmospheric feel to it. And added much of importance to the gaming. The game also have same similar features, designs but different type of gameplay with that of ninja arashi game as they both do the same type of things That makes them look a bit unique and literally speaking as I've seen both games they're all good and played very much in a fantastic way that is a lot appreciative all other aspects of them too are quite good and maybe better than each others so there's quite a lot positivity within them.
So the game was released on the February 25 2016 and looking at this date it was quite a long time the game was released but to tell you they've being doing good ever since then it was released both on the visibility aspect as that part seems to be the most impressive part of the game for having enough visibility on the game and it was liked by people mostly on everything because it's quite an interesting game to play and it seemed much to be an outstanding game in most part of it which isn't that hard to recognize. Talking about the visibility aspect of the game that part like I said earlier seemed to be the best part of the game and it's really an encouraging thing see for it also adds up in attracting more users to the game. So right now the game has a maximum amount of 1 million downloads presently on play store and still counting as well cause literally it's a game that is being acknowledged by all both the positive reviews and the nice comments made by users who've equally played the game also. And the fun good thing about it is that there's just few or less of bad negative reviews about the game so that's quite a good thing to see concerning the game and I loved it right from the first time I came across it So it's an excellent game but at times usually turns out to be a boring game for the rest of the level.
The Ignatius game also has some good features of it and a nice graphical designs that almost covered every description about the game because there is were you'd get to see a graphics that is black and White sort off and really looks nice when looking at it. Another important game mechanic is the saving engine as there weren't any auto save feature in Ignatius so remember to save often , even at the start of every level, otherwise you will have to do long parts of the game twice.
It's a game that was created and developed by sons of welder which as well are the developers of other fantastic games like the jewels rush, the quantum ram, and the rest of others including this very particular one I'm reviewing so there games all sounded good and played very much in a good way often. So after the release of the game had some fee things that was added up and also had some new features and things bent of fixed on the game in other to equally make the game and it's gameplay a sure fantastic one as well. so actually there was not much of things that got fixed as it happened to be just about 4-5 of them both newly features and things fixed on it. So here are the things that got fixed and the features that got added up to the game. They've fixed the problem that occurs on the Changes not affected on old version save game data. They've fixed the bugs as usual. They've added auto save system whereby first slot will be overwritten at stage start. And lastly they've optimized the ui interface of the game so that sounded a lot better and this and all ultimately added up to make the game huge and also plays in a fantastical way. So I know there's a little improvement on the game and this is why it's more standard now and made a great changes.
GAMEPLAY
Speaking about the gameplay, the gameplay of Ignatius game really had nothing Much there but seemed to be quite active and fun though it's not like an action game or a shooting game buh there are good positive things it does which made me really like the game cause of it's great content. The gameplay mostly involves walking, whereby you keep walking Till you decide to reach at your destination of where you might enter into another level to continue again. It's simply an atmospheric puzzle platformed game that deals more on narrating a stories whereby it gets to let you know the basic facts about what the game stands for and it's attributes as a game and what it really entails.
The gameplay is kind of simple as I've played and it's mandatory you've just used the backward-facing controls with the buttons on the bottom left, combined with the plenty skills of attack on the right. In Ignatius, is where you will need to play as a young boy whose life is monotonous, but during one night on your walk home it happened that you came across a theater director. Vigo is his name and he whisks the character away into a (mostly) black and white film world. Here you’re forced to traverse odd worlds, obstacles, complete puzzles and defeat bosses to make your way back so as to ensure your life is still safe. And actually Ignatius is nothing due to the fact that there are only four buttons you’ll be using for the gameplay. You can either move forward, backwards, jump and interact as always. You can also drop down from areas, but that’s never really necessary as you could also just walk forward, but to each their own. You’ll use these commands to run across the worlds you’re in and complete all the tasks assigned to you by your master. It's usually tough though so you better shouldn't mind about what I said the other time. You just need to develop some skills within you. The Gameplay itself seemed quite a bit simple with the main buttons being moved, jump and interact. The goal was to go around the level and collect all the pieces of the reel in order to activate a portal to the next level that you'll be playing. The levels starts off being simple but soon become slightly different and tough when you find yourself having to go left and right constantly. There again, You can also collect pieces of a book that would together tell a short story of Vigo like I said before this game is a game that goes with a scenario of telling a story but while it was interesting reading it there were only 12 pages to read and the fact I had found 2 pages in a one time row meant there wasn’t many levels. It also explains why it introduced platforms over bottomless pits in the very first level though. So generally speaking the gameplay is quite intense and fun to play but seemed to be a lot with recital and anecdote.
GRAPHICS
Speaking about the graphics, that part really got me screwed up as it's mostly designed with a black colour and white colour and tends to make the game look more like an antiquated game of which it is but really not an all that dilapidated for it's based on how the developers wanted it to be and mainly because of the kind of game he/she might be developing at that certain time and all that in common. Ignatius, for its simple style of playing the adventure, it's an excellent looking game. While backgrounds rarely change, the ground elements look great as well. visually it's graphics is kind of similar to Limbo. And there weren't much but the biggest difference between these games attractively is when the color is been introduced to Ignatius. The dark Color it features really makes the game feel alive and adds a whole new feel to it. Mixing that with its classic film look in other levels is kind of great. The designs of the creatures too was quite good but literally has it's negative side mainly for being a creature monster with such designs. So in overall the graphics of the game is a bit of good but the blackness seemed to be quite much though it actually adds to the feel of the game.
SOUND
The sound of Ignatius is good but literally it's being played in a minor way that is also a lot appreciative and I also like the fact of how it sounds whereby you'd be on a waiting to check out a thing on your system and only to find out that it's still moving and the music still playing as well. So it was designed in some kind of way that the music is going to be playing all the time except if there's a cancellation made which is hard to see. The music effects are good and it sound greatly too which is So realistic. The running aspect and the sound of the game while walking was quite intense and a lot impressive which also helped a lot by there on the game. The soundtracks isn't all there but you've just got to see it literally adds to the feel of the game. The voice acting is cool and quite interesting to hear. The music that often plays when making a selection at the beginning of the game is fun and I really liked it personally. So generally speaking about the sound, the was fantastic and in shot overall the sound of the game is great and seems to be much Better.
