Let's get into it:

In Delver you're a unarmed adventurer thrown into a ramdonly-generated dungeon with the task of retrieving an artifact, a magic orb of incredible power buried somewhere in the depths, and live to tell the tale.

Delver is a pixely dungeon-crawler, in this game you'll loot, explore, find lots of dead ends and fight a diverse rooster of enemies with swords, daggers, maces, bows, wands, and even throwing random stuff at them to cause some damage. Every floor in this forsaken dungeon is increasingly harder and full with different kinds of enemies to defeat and secrets to uncover.

The dungeon in Delver is randomly generated every run and so is every piece of loot you find. You can find weapons and armor that boosts your health, your magic affinity or even your speed. Delver rewards curiosity and exploration with awesome loot, so don't be shy and explore every corner of every floor!

As you go deeper and deeper into every floor of the dungeon you'll fight many creatures that will reward you with experience points when you defeat them. When your XP bar is filled you'll level up and get to assign a point in one of 3 ramdonly picked stats, it can be Endurance, Magic Affinity and Speed or Defense, Attack and Ranged, and so on. This is a good mechanic to make sure that the player never plan a build or get to discover a ultimate build for every run, instead of that it forces the player to think on the run and focus on the playthrough and the playstyle it's adopting at the time. You'll find yourself experiencing new builds every playthrough, some will be good, some will be bad, but that's the fun part!

Every two floors the dungeon change it's design, going from ruins to sewers and caves. It's never boring to start a new campaign and go exploring in this different settings, but be careful, those caves are really dark and full of spiders and poisonous worms!

As I said, starting a new playthrough in Delver is always fun, floors are never the same and the loot is even more unique than before. The graphic style and the music are really beautiful, they add a sense of immersion that really got me hooked. Although Delver is a game developed with a comic -pixelart style, the team behind the game did a really good job developing the ambiance and the soundtracks so it's really easy to feel immersed in the dungeon and loss sense of time while playing, always have a clock close when you start a new game in Delver!
