Microsoft was preparing a kind of "family of consoles" named Scarlett, using all the technology and network of the American giant to expand its power and accessibility video game. Today, the rumor picks up even more and still comes from the same author, who this time proclaims having searched some explicit data in addition to having spoken to a speaker with the tongue hung: Microsoft would prepare in reality .. an Xbox duo.
The first would include hard hardware, with the aim of providing consumers with the necessary hardware to run games in the best possible resolution and framerate, as we can imagine. The surprise comes mainly from the second machine, entirely based on streaming. Although several manufacturers and publishers are already taking over the game remotely, the various players in the industry had agreed to say that this technique would arrive firmly for the next generation. According to Thurrott, this second console would be called Scarlett Cloud internally and would work entirely through streaming, allowing players to try titles as if they were playing music on Spotify or a movie on Netflix. It would then be enough to pay a subscription to enjoy a catalog, exactly in line with what Microsoft has already started with Xbox Gamepass.
The manufacturer would use its already existing infrastructure, like Azure, to establish itself in the cloud market with power. This Xbox would not require a powerful hardware and expensive: the price would be drastically lower than that of his cousin. In the same way, it would then allow to play on any platform - a TV, a tablet or a telephone - as long as the Internet network is sufficiently powerful. Finally, the two machines would have the same games: it would therefore be up to you to choose the most relevant support according to your personal criteria. Everything would be ready for 2020 and turns out, we must admit, quite likely ... The E3 2019 will undoubtedly be the scene of major revelations at Microsoft as Sony already working on its hypothetical PlayStation 5.
