Ordinary people aren't in a hurry, acting as if they are going to live 100 years. They don't respect time as a valuable resource as much as strategy players do.

You're damn right about this. I read somewhere a while back that the more people understand their mortality and meditate on their eventual death, the happier they tend to be.

That being said, I've always struggled with RTS games. There's just so much stuff going on all at once! That might just be my age kicking in, though. I'm probably a bit too old for some of this stuff.

I live in a small town where 20 year old people are drowning every year during summer swims in local dangerous river. Its hard not to take mortality seriously. Hey, as long as you're not eating with a straw, you are young enough :)
