I share a lot about how immersive it feels to hang out with people in VRChat, but I haven't really talked about the virtual space in general.
There are hotels, nightclubs, haunted houses, bedrooms, grassy fields, and pretty much whatever else you can imagine in VRChat. The rooms seem to be getting more and more well made, which causes them to become more immersive.
They even made a sleeping room for people to relax and even sleep in virtual reality.
There are places with many interactable objects, food, bathrooms, tv screens, etc etc etc...
I've found myself just going to many of these rooms to chill and relax. Sometimes even alone. It's like going on a mini-vacation without leaving the house.
Some people have even started to call certain rooms home, and you can find them hanging out there all the time.
It really feels like you can escape from you real life home into another world.
I'll probably try to make my own room soon, and I wonder how much time I will want to spend in it.

I am absolutely not as experienced as you are in this game, but from what I discovered so far, I really get a feeling why some people call certain rooms home. On Sunday as mentioned in my newest blog post I was in a disco and I totally forgot that I was dancing in my room, with real life consequences.
I am just getting started and scratched the sufrace but i am amazed.
That bedroom is so cool, I love it.
I want to have my own virtual room too lol
