Hello there guys, How are you all these weekend? Welcome back again to my blog for another list on some of pixel-art video games that available for your Android devices. This article is an article that continue my previous article about Pixel-art video games. And as usual, Here you are going to find some of pixel-art video games that you can try and have fun to bring back your childhood memories with it. Some of pixel-art video games that I am going to talk about in this episode are:
- Pixel Sky
- Sword of Xolan
- Hunter Legacy
In this episode, I am not going to explain about what is pixel art video game, I have explain it in my previous article, check out my previous article if you need the information.
Alright, Let's begin discussing those pixel-art video games that I have listed above. At the end of each list, you will going to find the link to download the video games. Some notice about this article that you need to know is that, the games here in the list are for android platform. I do not know if it is available for another platform or not. You can download all the games in the list from google play store. With this pixel-art video games, Let's recall our childhood memories.
PIXEL SKY
Pixel Sky is a video game that have pixel-art graphic that offered by Toxic Pixel. This video game belong to the genre of Arcade video games. This game is a vertical runner style video game that are available to download free. Pixel Sky offered an in-app purchase system. The system requirement for this game is that your Android device must be at least version 4.2. The latest update of the game as this article is written is on November 19, 2017. This video games is not quite popular as it still only have around 100-500 install right now.
In Pixel Sky, the gameplay is very simple, The player's objective is to control a character and help it to climb as high as possible. The map where you can play the game can be chosen randomly and it is generated randomly. To help the character climb up, there are hook available and you need to throw it an object that look like a block as the character will hooked. There will be a time limit here, you need to climb as high as possible on that time period.
There will be a lot of character that you can choose from in the game. However, those character is available only in the store. You can buy these character using coins that you acquired by playing game. You will get these coins as reward when you play the game, the highest you climb, the more coins you will get. Sword of Xolan
These pixel-art video games is belong to the genre of action. Sword of Xolan is a platformer video games which have a retro feel because of it's pixel-art graphic. This game is offered by Alper Sarikaya on Google Play Store. The game is quite popular as in play store, the game has been downloaded around 1 to 5 millions download already. To play this game, your Android version need to be at least version 2.3 and the latest update of this game is on February 2, 2017. This game also available for free and offered an in-app purchase system.
Sword of Xolan is a game where you will play a character named Xolan. He is a young man with his bravery fighting against all enemies in order to bring justice. He will succeed his objective for no matter what the cost he will get. So, you will play the game to help him stand and fight against darkness in order to bring back the justice, the peace and the serenity that was once everyone enjoyed.
The game offered quite a lot of features as well, these features include several level that are 30 in total. There are time-based challenge levels as well which overall have 9 of them. In the game, the character will fight against several type of enemies such as zombies, flying creatures and giants. Xolan skill can also be upgraded through game-cards, you will collect these card as the game progress to upgrade Xolan's skill. Check out some of this screenshot below.

Hunter Legacy
Hunter Legacy is offered by Cinnabar Games on Google Play Store. This pixel-art video games belong to the genre of Strategy video game. In term of popularity, the game has been download around 1 - 5 hundred thousands times. The system requirement of this game is quite unique, in the play store, the game size, os requirement and version is vary depend on the type of device you use. The latest update of this game however is on November 8, 2017. This game is offered for free to download with an in-app purchase system.
In term of the storyline of the game, the player of this game will play a role of someone who inherited a certain plot of land from the ancestors. Your objective in the game is to rebuild the land that you inherited. You will need resources in order to build it. That is where you will go in adventures to collect or gather resources such as loot, hunt and many more. You will find these resources in the forests, mountains, caves, and plains. The resources that you will find in the place include some weapons blueprints to create your own weapon. You will need these weapon in order to fight animals, orcs, goblins and even the undead. You will hunt them to become the best hunter and earn the family legacy.
Just like another strategy video games, as the player of this game, you will control your character what it needs to do. You need to be aware to not let your character dies in this game. If your character dies, you will not be able to restart the game with the same character, the game will be restarted with another generation to follow the quest. Beside fighting, in this game you will play to tend the farm, harvest and gather ingredients or build your house. All of these is needed in order to make your character survive.
