Those colorful ducks are perfect for that colorful place! It is simply beyond description, it is all so beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with #Featheredfriends! !Tip

Glad you liked it. I was trying to wait for yhr birds to swim somewhere with the perfect background, but they didn't read my mind and follow my thinking.

Funny how critters tend to be so uncooperative!

Wow! That is spectacular colors in those gardens! Love the architecture too and the beautiful mandarin ducks - so colorful - I never knew there was such colorful ducks!
Beautiful photography - it was a delight to see!
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks ~ There is a duck that lives in the Southern Great Lakes region in the US that is very similar to this duck. I've never actually seen one of them before, but they look nearly as colourful from the pictures. I think it's called the 'wood duck'.

Holy shit those colours are awesome! The red maples (they sell them here as Japanese maples) get so damn red it is nuts. Kinda like the Burning Bush they sell around here. https://www.homedepot.ca/product/landscape-basics-2-gallon-burning-bush/1000175716 So green in the summer and red as hell in the fall.

I think we are like those ducks. We could easily run away but have everything we need. Safety and convenience is king.

I think the small ornamental ones that stay purple and have the thin leaves are all from Japan. But this maple is quite large and has green leaves during summer, so it could be one of the indigenous species (there are quite a few different types), but I didn't look for a sign that identifies it.

They call autumn leaves here danpung and this tree is quite popular here in autumn because of the bright red colour. It's a running joke among ex-pats here how some Korean people like to boast the fact that they have 4 seasons as if it is some national achievement or unique.

Oddly, the home depot website doesn't work outside of Canada, nothing my VPN can't handle though. I wish I had a shop like that. It makes things cheap, but it destroys inefficient small businesses.

The ducks are a great metaphor. I didn't see any try to fly, but for ducks, it's a lot of effort and they have no reason to bother.

Great story and nice photos, I do however recommend getting a better keyboard app. The amount of typos ruins the flow.

Glad you liked it.

About the typos, I uploaded the photos at home but finished on my phone while stuck in traffic (I wasn't driving). Editing is a pain and I just hate typing on phones. Usually when I type on my phone, I fix it up later when I get home. I'll do that in the morning as it is getting quite late.

wow! i love the crazy colors on the ducks!

Yeah. These ducks are common to see in Korea, but I find they are best viewed when the leaves match the ducks' colors.

Cute ducks and beautiful scenery. I have to check this out next time I'm in Korea.

Thanks. I can give you more information if the map doesn't help.

Wow! The trees are so colourful, even the Mandarin Ducks are colourful!! I really envy you...

I was a little overwhelmed with the colours, actually.

Really? I love them!

What I mean is after going there, then looking at photos, then editing photos, then writing about photos, I'm sort of tired. I need something simple and black and white like a sensory deprivation tank.

Hahaha... Ohhhh... That's the real meaning... Haha
