They are sweet thanks, not sure where you are in the world. But check as many varieties available. These will grown in bags in fact designed for growing in bags so you might get away with bring them indoors when dormant, they don't weigh much.

I'm in North Dakota USA . 20 miles west of the Minnesota border and 100 miles south of the Canadian border. I do believe there are one or two cherry varieties, but they are more akin to a choke cherry or goose berry then the sort of cherries that are grown in milder climates.

I see you are very cold where you are but sure you will find a newer variety. Your universities have horticulture departments and produce excellent agricultural and horticultural videos as I have watched them.
