A few days back I shared an update on the first few plants that I planted in my garden. After that there have been some other developments also in my garden. The first lot was of some plants which I can use in day-to-day life, like fruits and veggies. The next lot to focus on were some ornamental plants to bring beauty to my space. The gardener helped me select plants that could even thrive during the monsoon season. It has been raining heavily and more than the rains the winds are very strong. Last week it damaged one of my windows and we had to get some urgent help, or else the whole house would have been in a mess, it is that strong. With that now I am also wondering if some of these plants will get through the season or not.
Till now, they have been ok but there are 2 more months to go and the wind is very rough, more then the rains I am concerned with the winds part, I have placed some of them in place where it can get little protection from the winds but almost every part is exposed so there is just very little protection in some areas of the garden.
We planted a Xmas Tree. This is hubby's favorite and we have always had one in all our homes, so this was the first choice for both of us.
Some flower plants in different colors
These ones are still buds and will bloom in a couple of days
In local language we call this plant Morpankh and my gardener told me that it is always good to have it in a pair, so we got 2 of them and placed it at the entrance of the house.
Some palms to add show near the pool side
This is the night blooming jasmine plant. At night this plant gives a very sweet fragrance. The flowers are yet to come out in it.
This one is the Elephant Ear plant, Alocasia odora. I love the look of it, the big leaves make the space filled up.
My place is filling up well. Right most of these plants are in the pots but gradually I plan to make a nice flower bed so that there is more space for them to grow.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

I loved your plants Ma'am @nainaztengra they are all healthy
Thank you
Dearest, it's wonderful how you've gotten a mix of practical plants and ornamentals. Those strong winds must be challenging, but it sounds like you're taking good care of everything. Best of luck through the season !WINE
Yes, it is challenging to manage them in this rainy season and I hope that they will sail through it
Oee nice grow!! everything looks green and firm and strong!
Watch out with that alocasia though as it don't like direct sunlight at all. I have one here but inside and it is a challenge to make it thrive haha
You are right, I am already facing a challenge with this one. I have now got it under the roof where there is no direct sunlight, I hope it will thrive :-)
Yes, ma'am. I like the smell of it during humid evenings.😊

You are most welcome anytime Amit
so many plants! real green garden that decorates your house area! 5 palms near water look just great!
Oh my dear, there is lots to do. I am waiting for the rainy season to get over and then the real garden work will begin, right now it's just a few plants that will thrive in the rains
we've heat now about +40, and many plants feel bad;(
Oh my god, I never knew it gets that hot in your side. I always thought it would be either extreme cold or nice weather. 40+ is bad, this season here in Muscat also a lot of plants have withered up and I am feeling so sad about that :-(
