Garden Update - Green Paradise + Before and After Photo

in #garden4 years ago

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing another garden update. I feel like it's the perfect time to share a before and after photo - I still remember planting everything with my parents and being excited to see it all green and full of produce. Watching the first fruits and veggies form and following their growth is something that still keeps me amazed and super grateful.

Here is our garden now:

Harvest and what we plan to make?

We have been eating a lot of potatoes lately as this is the perfect time to harvest them. These days zucchini has been on the menu quite often. Carrots are also something we harvest in small batches and add them to cooked meals and my niece loves eating them fresh. Yesterday and today we harvested some peas to put it in the freezer and we also had some for lunch today. Tomorrow there will be another small peas harvest and a few more in the days to come. We have been enjoying a lot of fresh cherries lately, some we also put in the freezer and my mom made cherry juice or more likely syrup for the juice. On Thursday we will make a cherry cake as we are trying to use them up as much as we can. Strawberries are another fruits we have been enjoying and raspberries are starting to get ripe as well. I think that's it so far. I am looking forward to fresh tomatoes and cucumbers!

Thank you for reading and I hope you liked this garden update post. Have a great day!
