I'm with you on this - 'weeds' a social construct - every plot should have something for nature....

Most of the things that are considered 'weeds' today, were actually cultivated a while ago. Stingy nettle, French cabbage, goutweed...
That is why they pop up in every garden, because the were selected for it and are adapted to humans. But that's for another post...
Stinging Nettles, very nutricious!
Also great for making ropes :)
