I finally got my act together (as did the weather) and sowed my hoard of seeds in some "disappearing" pots my mom sent me in a package. The pots along with the mini greenhouse I got from IKEA last year were very helpful in getting me going... Additionally, I had ordered three bags of potting soil a few months ago, anticipating a much earlier Spring. In any case, I had everything I needed to get started when the mood finally struck.
Here's what we've got:
This is a mystery seed I found among my stash of seeds...
This was an open package from last year. Last year's attempt at lavender was unsuccessful, let's see if any sprout this year...
Snap Dragons that mom sent me with the pots.
The parsley seeds are also an open package from last year. I got them to sprout but they died when I left town.
I gathered these marigold seeds from my own dried flowers.
Whereas mom sent me this package of seeds. They are a different type of marigolds from last year's.
Calibrachoa seeds from my own plants.
And finally basil seeds from my own plants from last year.
Fingers crossed!
hopefully grow fast ... i can not wait to see them bloom @youngoldengurrl
Thanks, I'm looking forward to some great pictures this year!
whether you want to plant, all flowers or other plants @youngoldengurrl
I'm doing a little of both: some herbs and some flowers...
and maybe some tomatoes and peppers, too... I haven't decided yet.
Great work I got some done last weekend but nee to buy more to plant now. Just nee some nice organic seeds. Yes marigolds must remember the marigolds 💯🐒
marigolds are the best! What are you growing?
Can't quite remember? Tomatoes, beans, herbs and the rest is a surprise for me haha 💯🐒
Hah! Well, despite my best efforts all of my labels are already illegible (water, sun), so now I don't know which is which... so there will be an element of surprise here, too:)
The best way I think, I love a good surprise 💯🐒
last year I didn't bother to label any of my pots and thought my marigold sprouts were lavender for over a month...
Haha brilliant 💯🐒
looking forward to the progress shots.
I already have some marigold sprouts popping out! At this rate, the wait won't be long.
