Thanks, when I replanted the fruit trees into planters I lined the pots with bark and added a fair amount of greenery into the base then potted my trees into good rich soil mixed with homemade compost. This all helped to keep in the moisture and feed the plants. I had kept many of the trees in their planters for a few months over the hottest part of the year. Then in autumn and winter we planted the trees onto the property and now are hoping they get through the huge amount of rain as the property is very wet but should dry out soon.
