By the arctic circle we kind of stuck with the basics - potatoes, carrots in the garden and in the greenhouse cucumber and tomatoes. But its zone 2 so loong winters and short summers (tho the midnight sun helps a bunch). Gardening here in southern Alberta, Canada I was excited to grow squash - butternut squash is so yummy (and not something I had eaten before comming here), bell peppers was another thing I hadnt concidered even trying before but the ones we grew were sooo juicy. I recommend the chocolate beauty pepper - it has a juicy almost smoky flavour to it. Yum!!
